Even though it's meant for attacking, chopping was easy too. Mine weighed 92g, but since I had pips on the backhand it worked out just right. What I liked most was the push when I got pulled in close to the table.

I've used all kinds of blades, but this one is really easy to use, and I love the weight and the FL grip. Also, stops hold well in the short game, and even though it's meant for attacking, it was easy to chop with too.

In a word: excellent.
Among wood blades it's on the bouncier side, but it doesn't have that "flies on its own" feeling you get from special-material blades.
So if you're switching over from a special-material blade, I think you'd feel right at home, just with a bit less snap.The drawback, as expected, is that it's a bit on the heavy side, so I think it's worth adjusting by using a softer rubber on the backhand, for example.

As you might expect, it's heavy, lol.
I used to use a Timo Boll ALC,
and this one is about 5g heavier.
At first it definitely felt hard to handle and I thought this might be a mistake,
but once I got used to it,
it became easier and easier to use!
Serves and pushes have real bite,
you can block with just a light touch for a soft return,
or press down and stop it for a fast block —
I think it's easy to vary the pace like that.
Drives have a great feel,
and it's easy to hit with both forehand and backhand.
I was curious about GFT rubber,
but I was scared to change my whole setup,
so I stuck with G-1 and Arhelg,
and it's easy to use — I'd recommend it!Also, if you do some practice swings with two blades before practice,

Timo Boll A distinctive blade

This is a distinctive blade in a lot of ways. First, the grip! For an FL, I think it's quite different from the average one. Then, the price! It's cheap — maybe because it doesn't use special materials, but 7,000 yen is a great deal! And the blade itself! As another reviewer, "Viscaria," pointed out, it's a bit bigger than normal, which is actually a fairly important issue. The wood surface area and the area of rubber you need to apply both increase slightly, and that's what makes it heavier. On top of that, the grip is thick too, so making it a bit slimmer would lighten it up. That "Viscaria" reviewer's point is fair, but it's not quite that simple. Mizuno probably has their own reasons for the design, but personally I'd appreciate it being lighter (though I guess someone who thinks that way probably shouldn't be using a 7-ply blade in the first place...). I imagine some people are hesitating to buy it because of the weight, but I think the performance more than makes up for it, so give it a try.

I've been using this for about six months now. Honestly, I can't find a single flaw. I've bought around 10 blades so far, and out of all of them, this is the cheapest yet the highest-performing. Some people might be bothered by the thickness of the grip and the somewhat heavy weight.

It's easy to use, has good bounce, and I think it's a great blade overall.
The one thing that bothered me was the weight.
The shop had a few in stock, and the one I bought weighed 94g.
Once you put on one of the harder rubbers made for plastic balls these days, it goes over 190g.
If you're not bothered by weight, this shouldn't be an issue.
