Ultra-high rebound! Cypress + carbon racket that boasts outstanding attack power

Very realize the goodness of tremendous ball away with a hard shot feeling. While significantly increasing the attack power of the player is a racket that was adjusted easier to use the thickness and weight as well.

This racket is highly rated by advanced players seeking exceptional speed performance and attacking power. However, beginners to intermediate players face high difficulty in controlling it, with swing speed and rubber selection being crucial factors for mastery.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Exceptional distance with Speed 12 rating and metallic hard feel
    • Extremely early ball release makes spin difficult to apply
    • Defensive techniques like blocking and pushing are challenging
    • Best paired with sticky tension rubbers for optimal performance
    • Slower swings cannot unlock the racket's full potential
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveWith this racket, smashes and drives demonstrate unrivaled dominance that keeps opponents at bay. Its instantaneous power surpasses other rackets by a significant margin.
▽ CriticalHonestly, for players below the advanced-intermediate level, the ball release is too fast and drives fly away before gaining rotation, making control extremely difficult.

Table tennis (Experience: 4〜5 years) A blade with a very strong character

      Player reviews

In the pictures the line on the grip looks red, but in real life it's a bit more pink than red. The size of the blade and grip aren't all that different from the Swedish Extra or other blades — pretty much the same. But the speed is unusually strong. It's rare to find a blade built this purely around flying fast. Control is difficult. Like others have said, I think beginners are better off avoiding this one. If your swing is slow, the ball flies off before you can put spin on it, so there's a risk beginners just develop the bad habit of merely making contact with the ball.
The feel is hard, and there's basically no shock felt in your hand at all. You can really feel the surface and carbon of the blade launching the ball. The sound is also close to a metallic ping. As others have already mentioned, for rubber that suits the Sham Field, a tacky-tension rubber like Xiang Long fits perfectly — it dramatically boosts both spin and attacking power. That said, for a normal receive or drive, the amount of spin tops out at just slightly above average, even though the speed is there. But if you really commit to a full-power drive, it flies with unbelievable speed and trajectory — it's pretty brutal. This blade's instantaneous power is head and shoulders above other blades, and when you go all-out, the spin it produces is also the best there is.

Ultra thin man (Experience: 2〜3 years) Pairs well with thin-sponge rubber.

      Player reviews

I bought this a while after its 2015 release, and it's been quite a while since I started using it. Ever since I started using the Siamfil, I can no longer switch to any other blade for attacking play... (lol)

It's a blade that flies a lot off the surface, so the sound when you hit it is quite close to a metallic clang. There's almost no shock felt in your hand at all. Because it flies off the surface so much, it's hard to put spin on the ball. Well, in exchange, the speed is high, so it kind of evens out.

A loop drive is basically impossible with this. You could probably manage with a slower rubber, but that wouldn't take advantage of the blade's character, so I wouldn't recommend it. That said, speed drives are seriously something else. The ball flies so fast the opponent can't track it with their eyes, so they end up purely on the defensive, and if you push hard you can overpower them.

With this blade, the trajectory ends up quite low, so if you want a higher trajectory or more attacking power, this might not be for you.

The rubbers that suit this are inverted rubber or tension rubber. Just avoid max thickness. Choosing a thinner sponge gives better control and really lets the blade's character shine, so I'd recommend that.

Extremely thin (Experience: 6〜10 years) Strong at countering

      Player reviews

A speed rating of 12 is one step faster than the Galaxy I currently have. Reviews mentioned the bounce was great, which is what led me to buy it.
After a few weeks of use, my strongest impression was that it's hard to control. Once you get used to it there's no problem, but getting there is tough. With this blade, flicks and counters are much easier than with my previous blade, and the speed was on a different level too. Speed-oriented drives suit it better than deep, heavy drives. Countering has also gotten better compared to before.
However, when I push or chop, the blade's characteristics show through and I keep hitting long, over and over. That part is pretty tough... I think it's best suited to players who prioritize attack, but doesn't really suit those who prioritize spin.

Players using heterogeneous rubber (Experience: Less than a year) Works well with unorthodox rubbers

      Player reviews

I bought it because it was said to be the fastest blade at speed rating 12, and it really flies.
It flies even with anti-spin rubber on it.
The ball leaves the rubber so fast that it's hard to put spin on it. It doesn't suit long pips, but it worked well with anti.

Knuckle Man (Experience: 4〜5 years) No spin...?

      Player reviews

This is the first blade I've used that flies this much while being this hard to put spin on. The ball leaves it fast too. I'm honestly still not quite sure how to use it, but with this blade, smashes and drives have an overwhelming power that other blades just can't match — though pushes, and forehand pushes especially, become pretty hard to pull off. Blocking is about average. It leans so heavily toward attacking power that it doesn't have much spin. No-spin (knuckle) balls, on the other hand, are extremely easy to produce.

Moe (Experience: 2〜3 years) Quick ball release, right?

      Player reviews

The grip design and overall look are pretty cool, easily one of the best-looking in the Yasaka lineup.
It flies faster than almost anything else Yasaka makes, but because of that the ball leaves the blade unusually fast...
If your swing is slow, the ball just goes "bam!" and flies off before you can put spin on it.
Like others have said, I think tacky rubber or tacky-tension rubber suits it well.
The attacking power is outstanding, but control is difficult. If you can overcome that, I think this blade becomes a really strong ally.

      Takuya (Experience: 2〜3 years) Shamfeel

      Player reviews

Being the successor to the Spelander, this blade really flies. The ball also leaves it very fast. Since it takes off before you can really put spin on it, I don't think it suits people with a slow swing. The sound off the blade is a sharp metallic "ping." For rubbers that suit the Sham Field, I think tacky rubbers or other rubbers that hold the ball a bit longer work well, since they give you both spin and attacking power. With tension rubber the ball just flies off, so unless your swing is really fast it's hard to handle — but the attacking power you get is on another level compared to other rubbers. If you want both spin and attacking power, a tacky-tension rubber is the best choice — you still get good spin, and more attacking power than a plain tacky rubber. I think tacky-tension suits intermediate and advanced players best. Something like the Xiang Long seems to suit the Sham Field well. If you want something easier to handle, I'd recommend WRM's Target Blue.
Control is tough at first, but once you get used to it, it's really no problem at all.
