Leaves is an allround 5-ply wood blade from Nittaku. It is medium in weight with a slightly compact design. Excellent for all strokes of the game. Soft feel with great hang time for spin.

I use this for doubles. It has a good balance of offense and defense, and it's compact and easy to swing through.
Also, it pairs well not just with Nittaku rubbers but with other brands too.

For a while now I'd been wondering if there was a blade that suited me better, so I tried a few different blades over several months, but none of them gave me the same sense of unity with the racket as this one. The blade I'm currently using actually got badly dented when I smashed it into the table, and I filled the dent with glue, but the feel changed so much it basically became a completely different blade. That's when I remembered this blade again, and realized that if I paired it with the rubber I want to use now, I could put together a blade that's perfect for me. There was actually one other candidate blade, but it's expensive, and I really can't afford to buy rubbers along with it too. But with this blade, I liked it when I used it before, and it costs about half as much, so I think it's very reasonable. I'd lost a bit of interest in table tennis lately, but somehow finding something that feels like it becomes part of my hand has gotten me motivated again. I can't wait to play table tennis with this blade again.

I bought the beginner set with rubbers already glued on (Jamin, medium, both sides).
The grip is easy to hold, and control is a strong point.
The grip is made a bit thin, so it's easy to hold even for people with small hands.Maybe because the grip material is thin(?), the blade side feels heavier.
Thanks to that, the racket doesn't wobble on impact, so control is easy, and both drives and blocks go in consistently.

This blade is easy to control and easy to swing through. It's quite easy to use overall. That said, it's on the softer side, so it dents easily if you bump it — side tape is a must.

This is a beginner-oriented blade. It's easy to handle, so I'd recommend it. Once you get better, I think it's worth moving up to a slightly better blade. You won't regret buying this one. I did feel it was a bit light while using it.

It doesn't bounce that much, and speed isn't really there.

Smallish love table tennis hand (Experience: Less than a year)

For me, with my small hands, the slim grip along with a decent amount of bounce and a great ball-holding feel made this blade really dependable.
Even when I was pushed back and had to lob from away from the table, the good control helped me make it all the way to 3rd place in my first tournament.
If anything, it's a bit on the heavy side, but it's still easy to swing all the way through, so I could play really well with it.
That said, maybe because it's on the softer side, even a light bump left a scratch on the blade despite having side tape on.
