Pendoro (Experience: 6〜10 years) Soft, but plenty of speed

      Player reviews

I use a Chinese-style penhold grip. It has a soft feel and just the right amount of speed. Control is excellent too. I was using the Chinese EX a year ago, but since switching to this, my topspin drives get more spin and go in more than before. The backhand side is easy to hit with too.

I was looking for something light, with a thin blade, and with special material inside, and this is what I found.

The design is cooler than anything else out there — no other brand really compares.
It's easy to handle and every shot feels stable.

That said, the price is a bit of a downside since other brands offer comparable specs for less.
If you're an andro fan, or just don't want to use the same blade as everyone else, this is one to check out.

You Arakaki (Experience: 6〜10 years) Light

      Player reviews

This is a hidden gem. The moment I picked up the box, this was the only blade that felt light. On top of that, the grip looks cool, and it comes with an AN grip. Since it's light, it doesn't limit which rubbers you can pair with it, and both the spin and control are just great overall. No wonder it's used by Mr. ●kawa, a Japan League player.

Like other reviews mentioned, it's light — 170g with rubbers on both sides.
The ball leaves the blade quickly, but it still gets plenty of spin. It's fast too.
It really flies. It flies properly.
I think it'd be hard for beginners to handle.

      Balsamic The ultimate blade

      Player reviews

The first thing I thought when I unboxed it was "It's light!!" It's around 80g or less.
Up until this blade I'd always used an FL handle, and this is the first time I've tried ST, but the grip is really comfortable to hold. It has a slightly thin oval shape, so I think a lot of people would like it.
As for my impressions from test-hitting it, it has less of a "carbon feel" than the Swat Carbon I used before. It feels closer to an inner-carbon blade. But it still produces the speed you'd expect from an outer-carbon blade. And the thing that surprised me most was just how much spin it generates. Just like the Swat Carbon, the ball leaves the blade quickly, but it generates far more spin than the Swat Carbon does, so the stability and destructive power are amazing!!
This is known as one of andro's more niche blades, but I think it's an absolutely top-tier piece of equipment.
I can't recommend it to someone trying an outer-carbon blade for the first time.
But if you start with the Swat Carbon as your introduction to outer-carbon blades and then switch to this one, I think you'll appreciate how amazing it is even more, and you'll be able to play with more stability.
