      Player reviews

I used to use outer-carbon blades, but once the plastic ball came in I started worrying about hardness, so I switched to the All-Round Evolution. I liked the soft feel, but it didn't have enough bounce, so I went looking for a blade that bounced more than that one, wasn't too heavy, and still had a soft feel — and that's how I ended up with the Rudeack.
I had the impression that 7-ply blades are heavy and hard, but this one has an overall soft feel and spin is easy to put on, so I could switch over from the 5-ply All-Round Evolution without any discomfort. (Personally I find the Swat and Acoustic soft too, but they have a slight surface hardness to the feel, if that makes sense.) Compared to the 5-ply, the bounce is up several notches, and I got fast balls even from close to mid-distance from the table. Also, oddly, it doesn't bounce too much over the table, and stops were easier to do than with the 5-ply.
What surprised me most, though, was how easy blocking is. Since the blade isn't too thick or too thin,
control is easy and I never feel pushed back.
The price is a bit on the high side, but I think it suits anyone looking for a soft 7-ply blade that balances spin and speed. Personally I feel the Fortius FT is the blade that takes the Rudeack and bumps up the bounce and weight a bit more for extra power.

It's a wood blade but it bounces way more than you'd expect (in a good way). The ball sinks into it so well that even drives from far off the table get a lot of spin on them.

It's great for versatile attacking play, a wonderful blade for feel and control, and perfect for short pips on the backhand.

There chan (Experience: 2〜3 years) Has solid power too

      Player reviews

I switched from an outer carbon blade, so this felt really soft.
The blade has decent thickness, so it has plenty of power and spin.
I'd recommend a firmer rubber for it, something like G1.
But I also think it's good to use a softer rubber like Rozena on the backhand for more stability.

Even though it's a 7-ply blade, the feel isn't hard. Drives are super stable. It's not heavy either, so it's easy to swing — that's nice too.
