This was my first special-material blade, and I switched to it just 10 days before a tournament — but it was such a success that shots suddenly became so much easier to land. Chiquita is also super easy to do. I don't think you'll lose anything by giving it a try.

Of all the blades I've used, this has the best control. And the spin you can get is amazing too. The plywood is thin and the handle is thinner too, so it's a must-check for people with small hands. It's basically all wood, so if you're switching over from a carbon blade you might be unhappy with the distance, but I'd recommend it for people trying a special-material blade for the first time.

The blade is light, so the weight isn't an issue, and even with heavier rubbers glued on it still swings fine. Even middle schoolers and younger can swing it properly, so it's a blade I'd recommend. I used this blade to win my city tournament and qualify for the prefectural tournament!

Just use it and you'll get it. Receives, drives, serves, blocks — whatever you pick, the stability is outstanding ^ ^ Pushes and drives in particular are amazing. Your drives just stick right into the opponent's side of the table. It doesn't really matter who's using it — if you're an attacking player, I think this is the strongest blade out there.

If you back away from the table, shots don't go in as well, but close to the table it's stable and lets you play a spin-heavy game well.

There's so much amazing about it, so I'll break it down by technique!!!
[Basic hitting]
Super easy to use. The control is fantastic, and rallies were really easy to do.
[Topspin drives]
The amount of spin surprised me, it's incredible. Topspin speed drives, loop drives, sidespin curve drives, and even drives off short pips were all amazing and powerful!!!
[Smash]
Insane speed!!!
If you're using short pips, even a slightly high ball lets you hit a godly smash!
[Push, block, counter]
Both spin-based and speed-based techniques are fantastic!!! Since you get both spin and speed, receives and defense were also really strong!!!
[Serve]
It bites incredibly well!! You can put any kind of spin on it!!!
[Finally...]
This blade adapts to almost every technique, so I can recommend it for any playing style and any rubber.
But if I had to pick, I'd recommend short pips for close-to-the-table fast attack or all-around close-to-the-table play!!!
