The blade SWEDEN GUARDIAN, produced in the famous blad factory in Tranås Sweden, is based on the classical Swedish allround construction famous for its good control and feel characteristics. However, this blade has two slightly harder inner layers and two slightly softer outer veneers. In combination with the special shape of the blade SWEDEN GUARDIAN offers interesting playing characteristics for modern defensive play. Laquered.

First off, this isn't a dedicated chopper's blade.
You can attack normally with it too, so if you're looking for a plywood blade with a bigger blade head... it works fine for a topspin drive player or for close-to-the-table play.
The thickness is a nicely moderate 5.8mm.
It flexes and gives you spin, and holds back when you want to keep things controlled.
I think it's a genuinely well-balanced blade.
...This goes for Yasaka blades in general, but I do wish the design were a bit nicer...Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

I borrowed a chopper friend's blade to try it out. It pairs really well with Ventus — topspin drives were stable and very easy to put spin on, though once it turned into a topspin rally I felt the distance was lacking. For chopping, the blade absorbs the opponent's power well, which made it easy to use. Pushing with the pips felt very easy too. I'd recommend it for choppers who play around 60% offense, 40% defense.

Compared to attacking blades it doesn't bounce much, but for a defensive/chop blade it feels a bit on the attacking side. Even so, chopping is easy to do normally, and it works fine as a chopping blade.
Especially if you're a chopper, I think it's better to use anti-spin rubber, and a max-thin sheet at that, on the backhand. It would also work fine for a close-to-the-table anti-spin style, I think.
The speed doesn't feel like that much. I think it's a totally good blade even for someone who just started out as a chopper.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

Since tacky rubber doesn't bounce much, with a regular all-wood blade you might feel heavy but lacking in distance, but thanks to this blade using the same outer veneer as attacking blades and its thickness, it's easy to get deep chops, and you also get plenty of power on attacks.✴
On the other hand, with tension rubber it leans a bit more toward an attacking feel, so this might be a blade that only really shows its worth when paired with tacky rubber!

Novice kid (Experience: ４〜５ years) Bouncy for a chopping racket

It bounces well for a defensive blade, so it might actually suit an unorthodox close-to-the-table attacking style. I think it could also work for chopping if paired with a rubber with an extra-thin sponge to keep the bounce down as much as possible. It's an interesting blade.

I'm not a chopper, but I tried it out anyway. It bounces more than I expected — honestly, it's not really made for chopping. It also pairs way too well with unorthodox rubbers.
