Topspin drive
The ball comes out fast and fairly flat. When I swung through properly, I could produce a fast, heavy drive with good spin on it.
Topspin rallies
This left a really good impression. Since the ball flies well, you can put power on the ball even from far behind the table.
Block/counter
Because the blade is thick, you don't get pushed back by the opponent's ball, so it's easy to play.
The short game (over the table)
This was a bit tricky. If your contact point was late on a stop, it was hard to control the ball short near the net.
On the other hand though, flick-type shots over the table left a good impression.Based on all this, I think this blade is best for powerful players who often play away from the table.
Since the blade is heavy, I don't think it's very suited for junior high schoolers or women.
Also, since the blade itself has a lot of bounce, when you factor in the short game, I think a rubber that doesn't bounce too much and isn't too heavy works best. My recommendation is Rozena on the backhand. If your swing speed is fast and you can swing all the way through despite the weight, I think a tacky rubber could work on the forehand too (though I probably couldn't handle it myself, lol).
Also, for this level of performance, the price makes it excellent value for money.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

This is a reissue of the SK7 that used to be sold before. The price only went up slightly, which makes a great impression. What even is a "Hadraw," anyway...
Blade thickness is 6.7mm. It's a 7-ply that's better at bouncing the ball back than flexing. The ball leaves the blade even faster than the same maker's 5+2 outer-composite blade, but it doesn't fly excessively far and doesn't get wild, so it's easy to use. It also delivers strong hits with real power when playing close to mid-table. You can do small techniques too, but it's a blade that's strong in long rallies.
Since it became the "Classic," I haven't used more than one, but the earlier version had a lot of variation between individual units. If you're specifically thinking about a spare, it might be worth designating and comparing units at the shop before buying.

Not the SK Carbon, but the SK7 Classic is also good. It's a perfect fit for a second blade!

Momi Keene (Experience: 11〜20 years) A bouncy blade, even among 7-ply

This isn't one of those 7-plies that feels like a 5-ply, the way a lot of recent ones do - it's a real "this is what a 7-ply should be" kind of blade.
It has bounce, but it's also heavy. It's a blade for power hitters.
Most rubbers these days tend to be on the heavy side, but if you can handle that, it should give you a real edge.
You can get spin on it too, as long as you swing through properly.
That said, if feel is what matters most to you, I don't think this blade's feel will satisfy you.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness hard

This is the third blade I've switched to, and I think it's the best fit for me so far. I'm an attacking player who drives from away from the table, which is unusual for a woman. Control is easy depending on how much power you put in, and it's easy to use for driving from far behind the table. Being a 7-ply, it's heavy, which is a downside, but it's still very easy to use so I'd recommend it! I especially want players whose style is driving from away from the table to try it. Any rubber pairs well with it too~

DONG 7 (Experience: 6〜10 years) Revival of the SK7!

A friend of mine was using Rozena on both sides, so I borrowed the blade and tried it, and I thought it paired really well with Rozena. Being an SK7, the topspin drive has a lot of power. Also, thanks to the grip shape (I used the FL), backhand drives felt stable. The SK7 is a blade with a strong bounce and a bit of weight, but combined with Rozena I'd recommend it to anyone from beginners to advanced players. A really great 7-ply blade.
