Just like the title says, it checks all three boxes - hard, heavy, and fast - a true THE-7-ply blade. Even though it's this hard and this fast, the feel is still properly wood. I was expecting it to fly like crazy, but control over the table is actually pretty decent. That said, when you swing a drive, it's amazing. Fast, heavy balls come flying through one after another. If you swing through properly, blocks fly right off. Because it bounces so much, blocks, counters, and flicks all leave a good impression.
It really is that classic, rock-solid 7-ply feel. Totally different from the soft 7-ply Fortius that's popular these days. As for ease of handling, the SK7 is probably a step down, honestly...
If you want ball speed, if you want pop, if you're confident in your strength, please give it a try. I would absolutely not recommend it to beginners (^^)Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness hard

It took me a really long time to get used to this blade. I used to use the Clipper CR before, so it was hard to get a feel for it. That said, the smash speed and how easily you can put spin on the ball are great, but because it's heavy, I think it's difficult to use well unless you're someone who can hit through properly or who has real power.

I'm using the ST grip.
First, the design has a similar color scheme to the old SK7 but reborn in a modern style - it looks great. The ST grip is also easy to hold.
As for performance, in a word, it just feels like "a 7-ply blade!"
Not too hard, not too soft, a moderate bounce, not too light or too heavy - it doesn't pick a fight with any particular rubber.
Personally, I find the feel of the Clipper Wood, the 7P-2A, or the Swat more enjoyable.
There's no particular technique that's hard to do with it, but when you step back from the table, I feel like the ball's extension can't quite match a special-material blade.

This is a blade with a memory attached - I got it from a senior teammate when I was torn between a special-material blade and a pure wood one.
The power and speed you get on your drives are unique to this blade!
Even now that the balls have gone plastic, I personally think this blade holds its own against special-material blades.
It's on the hard side, but the feel actually comes across as soft!

I used to use the SK7, but it was discontinued, so I'd been waiting for it to come back.
It's not a blade that holds the ball long - it's hard and bouncy, producing a flat ball, really "the" 7-ply blade.
So if you swing all the way through properly, you get a good ball.
It's also easy to do flicks and other bouncing-type shots.
Because it bounces so well, you can produce powerful balls even in topspin rallies.
The downsides are that it's heavy, which might make it hard for junior high schoolers or women to handle, and that the short game bounces a little too much.This level of performance at this price is crazy. The value for money is way too good.
