A blade that made a comeback at a higher price.
This is the quintessential thick 7-ply plywood blade - the feel is on the hard side, and I think it's best suited for power-drive players and short-pips players.
It goes against the current trend for flexible, thin special-material blades, but I think there's a reason Butterfly went out of its way to keep it in production.
It's often treated as a benchmark among pure-wood 7-ply blades, so I think it's worth trying once and using it as a reference point when looking for a blade you like.
As for the weight, like everyone says, I think this is a blade whose characteristics can really be brought out by someone who has the strength to swing this much weight through. If you don't think you can swing something this heavy, then a thick pure-wood 7-ply probably just isn't suited to your game in the first place.Compared to the Clipper Wood, which also often gets treated as a benchmark, this one flexes even less and has more of a dry, woody feel on contact.

I used to use the Fortius FT5 before, and switching to the SK7 Classic from that, my first impression was that it's on the hard side.
For drives, you get pretty heavy balls landing in.
Pushes and things like that are a bit tricky.

Compared to the 7-ply Swat, this one bounces more, but the feel and the flex are both better on this one. A lot of reviews describe it as quite hard, but to me it has a good amount of flex and a really satisfying sound on contact - a super blade. The ball leaving the blade doesn't feel especially fast either. On the forehand, it also puts way more spin on the ball than carbon-reinforced blades (inner or outer). Since it averages over 90g, if you're worried about weight or can't swing all the way through, I'd steer clear. If you go and pick a lighter unit of this kind of heavyweight blade, you end up with a kind of hollow feel and never get the blade's real characteristics, so don't do that. If someone using a carbon blade tries this, they should really feel how much easier it is to put spin on the ball and to control shots, blocks included. With its moderate bounce, I think it also works well with short pips on the backhand.

The feel is on the hard side. The bounce is moderate.
When I used to put V15 (thick) on both sides, it went over 190 grams, so I think a lighter rubber is better with this. I think it's a good fit as maybe a second blade for someone already using a 7-ply.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

I like table tennis Good except for the weight

As expected of a 7-ply, it does have weight to it.
But overall, techniques are easy to pull off, and when you catch the ball on the sweet spot, the feel is really nice.
If you're running short pips on the backhand, I felt like you could get away with a harder rubber on the forehand and still be able to swing through.
That said, with my current amount of practice, keeping up the swings through a lot of matches was tough, so I gave up on it.
The SK Carbon suited me better.But personally, if you're going to use a 7-ply, this is the one I'd recommend.

I bought this as my second blade. The feel is really nice and it generates good speed. Since I have Rozena on both sides, backspin techniques and serves in particular worked really well for me. But until you get used to it, drives and smashes can sometimes fly too far, so I think it's best to start by practicing the basics first.

It's very heavy, and even after using it for about a year I still haven't quite gotten the switching between forehand and backhand down. That said, short-game plays like stops and flicks are easy to do, which makes it easy to use overall.
What I think is best about it is how much spin you can get on a loop drive. This blade doesn't seem to care what rubber you use - whatever rubber I paired it with, once I got it working I could put huge spin on the ball. Also, serving with this much weight gives you a lot of centrifugal force, so it's easy to put spin on your serves.
