With our TIMBER Line, we rely on the pure performance of natural wood and veneer structures. In the layer structure we differentiate in 5 or 7 layers. It's surprisingly light for a 7-ply blade.
Also, the grip is on the thinner side so it's easy to hold, and the value for money is great too - it's fantastic!!
The performance is outstanding for the price.
That said, if you're using a 7-ply blade for the first time or picking your very first blade, I wouldn't recommend starting with this one (;´Д`)
If it's your first time with a 7-ply blade, I'd recommend trying the Latica 7 instead.
This blade is a god-tier blade for players who focus on attack or who play a drive-dominant style.
If you prioritize stability or control, I think the 7off would suit you better than the 7off/S ('◇')ゞ
So let me also share what pairs well with this blade.
On the backhand, I'd recommend a softer spin-oriented tension rubber [something around German hardness 40-45°, Japanese hardness 30-35° is good (^▽^)]
On the forehand, I think a tension rubber that isn't too hard suits it well [German hardness 40-48°, Japanese hardness 30-38° is the sweet spot]
Overall, if you're using this blade, something in the 40-48°{30-38°} range that's neither too soft nor too hard gives the best balance ^-^

The speed is really good. Also, even though it's a 7-ply blade, it's pretty light and the feel is quite good too. But for some reason this racket makes you overhit a lot. It probably depends on your technique, but I wouldn't really recommend it for people who play close to the table.

I'm making a comeback after 30 years away. Please take this as the impressions of an out-of-shape old guy.
I switched from my old blade, an Adolescen, which weighed 198g total. The Timber 7 OFF/S is 87g for the blade alone, 183g total — a full 15g lighter.
What surprised me most after switching blades was the feel when the ball hits the sweet spot. It flies off with a satisfying thwack and lands right on the table.
Topspin drives on both forehand and backhand feel especially great! I was amazed — so this is the power of a 7-ply blade! The Adolescen never gave me that kind of satisfaction.
Not just my go-to loop drive, but power drives and speed drives also feel great and land solidly on the table.Serves and the short game, both long and short, go exactly as I intend. The control is impressive for a 7-ply blade with 6.9mm thickness.
I don't see any major weaknesses whether playing close to the table or at mid-distance. If there are any weaknesses, they're my own lack of skill and stamina.

This is andro's 7-ply blade. I've used the Core Seven before, and it does give a similar impression. Both have thick wood and get good distance. The spin is surprisingly easy to generate too, and I thought it might be the best value for money out there, but when I hit a strong forehand drive it felt like it lacked stability. It doesn't settle into the sweet spot well and produces strange over-the-table misses. It might depend on the rubber and stroke, but rather than Rasanter, I think Hexer or another brand's rubber might work better here. Every other technique worked fine, though. It's just that the absolute ceiling of performance feels capped - it handles everything at a uniformly high level, but I also felt a bit unsatisfied. I think it would make a good partner up through intermediate level.

The spin you can generate is insane!!! The balance between speed and control is great, and I think it's a really high-performance blade. I was surprised I could hit such powerful shots even from mid-distance. It's an easy-to-use 7-ply blade, so I'd recommend it to everyone from beginners to advanced players.

This is the ultimate short-pips backhand blade.
When you pair it with pips on the backhand, it instantly solves the problem of the forehand flying too long.
Even tricky no-spin serves like Spinpips Red, if you hit them properly, you can see the ball's label spinning.
Meet shots also go in easily and shoot through in a straight line.
With 7-ply blades, if you build for control the wood ends up thin and light and loses that "7-ply" feel. But the Timber 7 Off/S is a strange blade - it's thick yet light, and the ball comes out heavy and fast.
With inverted/pips combos, I always thought you had to favor one rubber side and put up with the other. This blade lets you get the most out of both sides.
Given the price, it's aimed at beginners to intermediates, but in the hands of an advanced player it produces absolutely ridiculous shots. A really great blade you can use for a very long time.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

I felt that a slightly softer rubber pairs better with this blade than a harder one.
The blade itself isn't all that rock-hard, but strangely, putting soft rubber on it turns it into a blade that's incredibly easy to control.
The discontinued CORE7 was an easier blade to hit with, but this one is more of a speed-oriented blade.
