Dynasty Carbon Xu Xin Edition is the result of years of development in search of a carbon blade with the ultimate balance between classic wood feel, known as the “STIGA feeling”, and carbon fabric development. We have developed and designed Dynasty Carbon together with World- and Olympic champion Xu Xin, to create a blade especially for the omniscient player who masters all elements of Table Tennis. The Dynasty Carbon Xu Xin Edition uses a newly developed Swedish made and patented carbon technology which makes the carbon fabric as stable and strong near the edges as in the middle, without affecting the overall balance and weight of the blade. This new Carbon technology is called TeXtreme+. TeXtreme+ draws from the original TeXtreme Spread Tow Carbon Technology and consists of an advanced, super thin carbon fiber fabric that maximizes the strength-to-weight ratio. Dynasty Carbon Xu Xin Edition is built with a thick middle veneer which enhances the core feeling and overall balance of the blade. The outer veneer is Koto, chosen for its quality and short in-game dwell time in comparison to more traditional outer veneers. This blade which combines superb touch with unbeatable power, gives you the possibility to be as creative, technical and powerful as Xu Xin. Dynasty Carbon Xu Xin Edition includes a signature of Xu Xin and features a uniquely designed lens by Xu Xin and his wife and former Chinese National Team player Yao Yan, describing their love story.

First of all,
there's no big difference in performance between the regular version and the Xu Xin version. I've used both, and even if the Xu Xin version's quality is supposedly better, I don't really feel it.
I think that's just down to individual variation between units.
So everyone should just buy whichever one they like (lol)As for performance,
the Dynasty is apparently a beefed-up version of the Carbonado 190,
and I was surprised that Xu Xin chose the 190, which has relatively low ball-holding...
but the ball-holding is better than I expected.
The wood has been changed and the material is harder too, but it didn't feel like the ball-holding was too bad.Sure, "if you're Xu Xin", this level of performance would be plenty.
Needless to say the speed is there,
it's THE outer blade,
and it still keeps the Carbonado's signature trait of
bouncing well while still being ○ (good) for control.
That said, it's still far from a pure wood blade,

A wide sweet spot combined with a satisfying hard, fast feel. This is an amazing blade.
The fact that it's modeled after Xu Xin, one of my favorite players, also feels great mentally. I used to be a little resistant to player-model blades like this, but once I actually held it, the sense of superiority was incredible (lol)
I really love the feel too, and even though it's an outer carbon blade, it still keeps the good qualities of wood, so personally I'm completely hooked.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness hard

The feel and sound when you hit the ball are definitely a love-it-or-hate-it thing with this blade. I love it.
My personal impression is that it's like a powered-up version of a bouncy 7-ply blade.

The biggest appeal is how easy it is to put spin on the ball. It's a great performer that shows different faces depending on the rubber combo. Personally I've always liked STIGA blades made from Western wood.

As someone who loves hard blades, this has the best feel I've tried. It has some flex too, and what really won me over is the wide sweet spot they advertise. I could really feel hitting the ball on the sweet spot, catching it right, and driving it through, and the feel of the ball changed a lot too. That said, this blade is hard, and unless you truly love this one-of-a-kind feel and unique sound it makes, it's tough to like - I think people who don't like it really won't. It's probably not as universally loved as the popular ALC blades. Still, I like it more than popular ALC or ZLC blades, it's one of my favorites! In the end, blades and rubbers really come down to compatibility and personal taste...

I switched over from the Emerald VPS V.
Even though it's an outer carbon blade, you can feel a wood-like touch, and it delivers the speed you'd expect from an outer blade — a fantastic blade. Also, the trajectory has a nice arc like a pure wood blade, which left a good impression.
The only downside is the weight. I picked a lighter-than-average unit at 90g, but even so, once you put max-thickness rubber on both sides, it comes to around 190g. So I think you'll need to adjust the weight through your rubber choice.
I can really recommend this to anyone who wants a special-material blade for extra speed but still likes the feel that's unique to a pure wood blade.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness hard
