Dynasty Carbon Xu Xin Edition is the result of years of development in search of a carbon blade with the ultimate balance between classic wood feel, known as the “STIGA feeling”, and carbon fabric development. We have developed and designed Dynasty Carbon together with World- and Olympic champion Xu Xin, to create a blade especially for the omniscient player who masters all elements of Table Tennis. The Dynasty Carbon Xu Xin Edition uses a newly developed Swedish made and patented carbon technology which makes the carbon fabric as stable and strong near the edges as in the middle, without affecting the overall balance and weight of the blade. This new Carbon technology is called TeXtreme+. TeXtreme+ draws from the original TeXtreme Spread Tow Carbon Technology and consists of an advanced, super thin carbon fiber fabric that maximizes the strength-to-weight ratio. Dynasty Carbon Xu Xin Edition is built with a thick middle veneer which enhances the core feeling and overall balance of the blade. The outer veneer is Koto, chosen for its quality and short in-game dwell time in comparison to more traditional outer veneers. This is a seriously great blade.
Mine weighs 94g, but the grip is on the thinner side and easy to hold, so you don't feel much of the weight — I recommend it!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Pen table people (Experience: ６〜１０ years) Feels like plain plywood. Best with pips-out.

I ended up buying this because it's the Xu Xin model (PEN). The design looks great. My first impression when hitting with it was that it had a plywood-like feel, along with the bounce you'd expect from carbon. It flew quite a lot. With this, even if you close the racket angle and swing hard, the ball should still land on the table. The reverse penhold backhand is also easy to do. However, this blade is quite heavy. I initially put on a fairly soft tension rubber, but it came out to over 180g. That's really not a weight you can swing comfortably with a penhold grip. So it's probably better paired with short pips. When I tried short pips on it, meet-style techniques like smashes felt really good. I plan to keep using this as a penhold with short pips going forward.

I bought this for Chinese penhold, but the blade is heavy — too heavy. Well, with an average weight of around 95 grams that's kind of expected, but once you put max-thickness rubber on it, it easily goes over 195-200 grams. For shakehand that might be one thing, but for Chinese penhold this is an ultra-heavyweight blade. If you've got the arm strength for it, fine, but for me my swing speed dropped, rapid-fire exchanges got brutal, and my shoulder and elbow started hurting, so I couldn't use it. I've played Chinese penhold for many years, and this was the heaviest blade I've ever bought. Naturally, I couldn't keep my usual good swing, my timing got late, I couldn't produce good shots, and I fell into a bad spiral, so I quickly went back to my old blade.
As a piece of equipment and in terms of performance it's probably great, but to make the most of this one you first need the physical strength to handle it. For reference, I normally use an 86.87-gram blade and keep the total weight within 185-190 grams. Even that already counts as heavy among Chinese penhold users, and yet even I feel this one is "heavy!" It's undoubtedly a good blade, but...
Also, I'd avoid picking up a lighter individual unit of this blade. This one is a good blade precisely because of its "heavy construction." If you made it lighter, the blade would lose its whole point and character.

This blade is outer carbon, but it has the feel of a 7-ply wood blade
That said, the bounce and trajectory are pure carbon, and at first I was surprised by the mismatch with the feel, but I gradually got used to it and learned to make it work
This blade is also very heavy (100g), and I felt you'd need quite a bit of arm strength to swing it around with inverted rubber on both sides
What really stands out is the sound — since I have Q5 rubber on it, when you really smack the ball off the rubber it flies off with a loud metallic ring, and it feels great
In the short game it doesn't fly too much either, and I felt the defensive technique holds up just as well as with a 7-ply blade, but when you put a drive on it, the speed comes out a lot, though there were plenty of times the spin wasn't enough and the ball wouldn't drop onto the table — I felt that needs some adjustmentOverall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

It pairs amazingly well with Golden Tango! You get tension-rubber-level speed! And yet the spin is even better than a tension rubber. Great blade!

I switched over from the Latica 7!
It's pretty easy to handle, so I think it's a blade I could recommend to players of all sorts of ages!
