I switched over from a Kenta Matsudaira ALC. First off, I was surprised how different it felt even though I hadn't changed my rubber at all.
On the forehand, the tacky rubber makes a high metallic sound, and my speed drives and counters got so much faster it barely felt like my own shots. It took a while to get used to the loop drive, I kept floating it or hitting it long.
The backhand doesn't sound quite as good as the forehand, but it still has a nice sound. Loop drives and chiquitas are easy to hit.
The short game, blocks, and pushes don't feel much different from before.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

It flies quite straight, so it takes some getting used to.
That said, thanks to the softer rubber I paired it with, I don't feel it's particularly hard.
It also flies pretty well, so you can focus purely on adding spin, and there was some sense of the ball being held too.
I've basically only used inner-carbon blades in matches, but this felt usable enough that I've decided to make it my main blade.
Personally, I'd recommend it to people using rubber rated soft to medium hardness.

This review comes about a month after I broke my right collarbone lol
I was hesitant about pairing such a stiff outer blade with something like Turbo Blue, but once I hit with it, thanks to the blade's flight and the fact that the rubber itself doesn't fly too much, the bounce was just right and I barely had any over-the-table misses. Lifting backspin balls goes up so easily even with a broken collarbone! Lol. That said, I've been using Hurricane since I started playing, so I don't think this combo is for everyone, but it worked really well for me! Counters are super easy on both forehand and backhand, no question!
I'm sticking with this combination for a good long while, at least until I'm old! I've never had a piece of equipment fit my feel this perfectly before, so it's a happy discovery.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

This is an outer blade, but it has a bit of a grabbing feel to it
which makes pushes, counters, and topspin drives easy to hit.
If you're thinking about trying an outer blade for the first time, why not start with this one?
(It's reasonably priced too.)
By the way, this is the same equipment Seiya Kishikawa uses.

After reading the reviews, I heard it's different from both ZLC and ALC, so I picked one up on a flea market app hoping for that. Kenji Matsudaira also used it to win a spot at the World Table Tennis team selection trials.
To cut to the conclusion: amazing. The ball-holding feel is so good and stable that while hitting with it you almost forget this is an outer blade, and I feel like I've become able to swing through even on my weak backhand.
ALC never suited me to begin with, and with ZLC the ball would catch and sail over the net, so I chose this one instead, it's easy to generate power with and doesn't fly too much either. I'd like to try putting Hurricane NEO on it. I feel like it could even handle tacky rubber on both sides.
Blocking felt a bit harder, maybe because the plies are a little thin, and I felt like Koki Niwa's ZC with a bit more power suited me better. But even so, you can absolutely compete with this one.
I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't get along with Butterfly's special-material blades, it's a great blade, but not as well known as it deserves to be. Great value for money.

This blade's ability to counter topspin is top-tier among outer blades.
Even against a loop with heavy spin, if you take it at a high contact point the counter goes in easily.
In terms of rallies too, it doesn't just hold its own against Tenergy-type rubbers, it's overwhelmingly strong.
If there's a downside, it's that combined with rubber that's too hard, the blade becomes quite flat, so if you drop your contact point to loop a backspin ball, it either goes straight into the net or sails long with no chance of going in.
While it's tremendously strong against topspin, if you can't turn a backspin rally into an actual rally, your chances of winning are slim.
Also, I think pairing it with tacky rubber or something like V15 lets you make good use of this blade's performance.
On the other hand, if like me you go for even more speed with a hard, flat rubber like V22, the benefits increase but so do the downsides considerably, I think it's a combination for advanced players that I personally can't fully handle with my current skill.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness hard

This blade is a masterpiece.
It's an outer blade but still has great stability, and you can put good spin on pushes and the like too.
It feels pretty light, so smashes and counters are easy to pull off, and you can also hit really heavy topspin drives with it. (Heavy enough that choppers net the ball.)
