A long pimple out rubber with profiled pimple surface. The thin pimples made out of soft rubber, support the possibility to produce dangerous defensive shots. It is possible to bring in your own chopping variation, which almost all professional players prefer.

I'd say this is really more for people just starting out with chopping...
If you want more spin, other companies' long pips (like the Curl series or Feint Long series) are better, and if you want more wobble, Vertical 20 or 55 are better too
I think it would also feel lacking for pips-attack style players.
It does have stability going for it, so I think it's good for people just starting out with chopping or with the pips-attack style. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I've tried a bunch of different long pips, and among them the Curl P1V has an insanely sharp bite on chops. It's low-elasticity so it doesn't produce much speed or distance, but in exchange it stops the ball incredibly well. As a shakehand backhand pips setup with relatively soft pips, you can catch the ball and actually attack with it, and it's also easy to add variation. If I had to point out a downside, pushing against backspin is hard and takes a knack. For the blade, a thinner ply with a harder top sheet works best. With a fast/lively blade, I think controlling the ball becomes difficult.

I use TSP Curl P1-R 1.8mm on my backhand, a Victas Koji Matsushita Offensive Wood blade, and Tibhar Hybrid K3 on my forehand. This is the best one I've used so far, and it reverses spin extremely well. Control is fine, but it's a little difficult. Because it uses a very thick sponge, it's extremely fast, so I'd strongly recommend it to chopper players who play from mid-to-long distance from the table.

This is a review as a chopping rubber.
I used the 0.5 (extra-thin) version.
When it lands, it comes in with a low trajectory and you can return the ball with tremendous variation, but it's quite hard to keep stable, so my impression is that it demands a lot of care with your touch.
Being able to use your chop offensively is, I think, this rubber's strong point.
As a comparison, against the Feint Long 3:
Ease of use
Curl P1 < Feint Long 3Amount of variation
Curl P1 > Feint Long 3Low trajectory
Curl P1 > Feint Long 3
That's roughly how it felt.
For chopping against a sudden hard hit, the Feint Long 3 is definitely more stable, so I think players aiming for a classic chopper style would be better off with the Feint Long 3.The Curl P1 makes it easy to create your own attacking chances with an aggressive chop, so I'd recommend it for players who attack more often.
If you can master it, I think you'll definitely become a chopper that opponents hate to face, so it's a rubber I'd recommend to someone who already has solid fundamentals.

This was my first time using pips and I went with the Curl P1V. It was my first time with pips but it wasn't hard, I got used to it quickly. I put it on an offensive blade and wondered if that would be okay, but it seriously stops the ball, and on top of that you can attack with it too, and of course you can chop with it too — it was a really good rubber. Seriously, if it's your first time with long pips, go with this one! The best
