    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
The racket is highly praised for its unique playing feel created by special materials, with a large gap between offensive and defensive capabilities, but multiple users have pointed out low durability issues, and improvements through revised versions are expected.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Hard and fast shots during attacks, soft and easy-to-control blocks during defense due to absorption material
    • Particularly favored by chopping players for deep, easily cuttable shots
    • Excellent operability for fine techniques like touch shots, blocks, and flicks
    • Significant durability issues reported with easy breakage even during normal use
    • Performance varies greatly depending on rubber selection, with bouncy rubbers showing better compatibility
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveAttacks benefit from the hardness of the burned wood with fast ball speeds, while defense benefits from the absorption material allowing easy blocking of speed drives with relaxed motion. The large gap between offense and defense makes it ideal for forehand-biased all-wood attacking players.
▽ CriticalThis is a very fragile racket that can break even without strong impact, especially when the wood absorbs sweat and breaks from simply playing drives. Since this is not an inexpensive racket, repairs or replacement cost around 10,000 yen each time it breaks.

Beginner cutman (Experience: Less than a year) A racket dedicated to penhold long-pips play

      Player reviews

You can do all the techniques you need for penhold with pips-out.
Since it has a shock-absorbing material built in, glass fiber-type rubbers become much easier to use.
Despite having that absorbing material, I was surprised how easy attacking techniques still were.
That said, it's not necessarily easy for everyone to use, so I'd recommend it to intermediate-to-advanced players.
For beginners, I'd recommend something like andro's Timber 5 DEF or TSP's Blockman 2.

Mickey (Experience: More than 20 years) Perfect racket for close-to-table pips attack and defense

      Player reviews

      This isn't a soft blade.
Comparing it to WRM's blades, it's about the same hardness as the Gensyu, maybe slightly harder.
It's definitely harder than the Gensyu L.

On offense, you get the benefit of that "baked blade" quality - meet-hits come out fast, and the topspin drive has good extension too.
The push speed with Glass GS is nothing to complain about either.

On defense, the Absorber Cross rubber's strength comes through - if you relax and block, you can even stop fast topspin drives right on the table.
As mentioned in WRM's video too, there's a big gap between "offense" and "defense" with this blade, making it ideal for close-to-the-table all-round players using unusual rubbers on both sides.

There are reviews saying it breaks easily, but the one I bought seems to be an "improved version," so that might be why the feel is a bit harder.

    • Cutman No. 3

Cutman No. 3 (Experience: More than 20 years) It breaks...

      Player reviews

I used this as my main blade for about a year. The other day I was doing a practice swing and it snapped clean at the base. I'm glad it wasn't during a match, but I was shocked - I've never had such a weak blade before. I'm a chopper, and since the feel and how easy it is to attack with are both good, it's a real shame. If you've got money to spare, go ahead and try it, but honestly I can't recommend it.

Cutman A (Experience: More than 20 years) Amazing, but... breaks easily

      Player reviews

F: Hexer Power Grip, B: Dawei 388D-1 Quattro Allround sponge thickness 0.5mm
This is the best blade I've ever used. Chops, pushes, chop-blocks - everything is really easy to control. I think it's also one of the best blades out there for variation as a chopping blade.
The bounce when attacking depends on the rubber, but I'd say it's relatively good.
For a chopping blade, the topspin drive is pretty good too.
So if nothing else were wrong, this would be one of the best chopping blades around, but unfortunately it breaks easily. I wasn't even hitting it against anything - I was just wiping the rubber and it snapped, just like that.
I've never had a blade break like this before. Every blade I've used before never broke even when it got knocked against something.
I repaired the break with wood glue. It seems to have bonded well, and I'm using it normally now. It might even be sturdier than before. If it breaks again, I'll consider a different blade.
I gave it an overall score of 8 because it broke. If it hadn't broken, it would be a 10.
I really hope the manufacturer improves this issue. If they do, I'll buy another one as a spare.

Super heterogeneous attack type (Experience: 2〜3 years) An interesting combination

      Player reviews

F: Yinhe Super Kim, B: Material Specialist Scandal. The short game close to the table is hard to handle. Mid-to-far from the table is easier to handle, especially backhand chops. Forehand topspin drives go in well. (Close to the table, they barely go in.) Close to the table, you can't score on attacks unless you smash. I think if I can get stronger close to the table, I'll be able to win. It's great for doubles.

Zeroen (Experience: 4〜5 years) It breaks

      Player reviews

The performance of the blade itself is really good, and I was happy using it.

The feel on contact is soft... or rather, it doesn't reverberate in your hand. Maybe that's thanks to the absorber cloth?

When attacking, you get decent speed, and it stops the ball firmly for chops and blocks. Chops in particular come back low and sharply cut.

Until you get used to it, shots tend to land shallow... but you can get the feel for it with practice.

Now, the biggest flaw of this blade is that it's really fragile.
It can break even without any hard impact.
Especially once the wood has absorbed sweat, it can even break from just hitting a topspin drive.

If you have money to spare it might be fine, but I really wouldn't want middle or high schoolers using this blade.

It's not a cheap blade, so if it breaks, you're looking at spending around 10,000 yen again.

Cutman 3 (Experience: More than 20 years) An interesting blade.

      Player reviews

Commenting here as a chopper. I have Hurricane Neo3 on my forehand and Glayzr Deetecs 0.5mm on my backhand. Both rubbers bounce relatively easily, but interestingly, chopped balls land deep on the table in a satisfying way. I think that's because the blade has special material built in that helps control the ball. On the other hand, it bounces a lot when attacking, which feels strange. It takes time to get used to, but I feel it's a good blade for a chopper who wants to both attack and defend. By the way, when I tried putting Tackiness Chop thin sponge on my backhand, the short game over the table stopped nice and short, which was good, but chops from farther back didn't clear the net. If chopping is your main weapon, I think it's better to choose a rubber with good bounce.
