Yasaka, using mainly natural rubber gum for the top sheet. This improves the level of grip and the power of spin drastically. The top sheet is combined with the new Power Sponge. The top sheet and Power Sponge work in perfect synergy, producing the Hybrid Energy rubber Rakza 7. When the player hits the ball hard, the rubber grips the ball and the stroke can be used to place the ball accurately, both in direction and length. The serve and short returns are very sharp and easy to handle. Due to the increased percentage of natural gum the durability is improved. A winning combination!

This is the poster child for a "manual" rubber.
It's a rubber from a generation (or two) ago,
but the fact it's still selling well is proof it's a classic.
Both the sheet and sponge have a moderate hardness, so you get spin in proportion to how hard you swing.
Because it puts spin first, the speed isn't huge, but if you put it on a lively blade you can get noticeably more speed out of it.
Top players still use it too, so if you're not sure which rubber to pick, you can't go wrong buying this one.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I'm a chopper with inverted rubber on both sides, and I use Rakza 7 on my forehand. It's very easy to generate spin with, and both serves and chops bite well. The ball lands on the table easily, and it forgives a certain amount of unsteadiness in your hand. Swing through it properly and you get decent power, so I think it's a rubber a wide range of levels can use. Even on the backhand, it grips the ball well for short-game techniques like chiquita and lets you place them deep. Even players swinging the backhand from mid-distance should get enough speed that it doesn't feel lacking. Since the ball arcs nicely, pretty much every technique lands easily overall. As for playing styles, it's obviously good for attacking players, but I also think it works well as a forehand rubber for all-rounders and choppers. Overall it's a very forgiving rubber. Sorry for the long review.

Rakza 7 is a solid, orthodox rubber that also has great speed and lets you put spin on the ball exactly the way you want. It's built to be easy to handle and I'd love for players with power to try it, and it lasts a long time. The amount of spin it generates is on par with Tenergy. The price isn't too high either, so it's a piece of equipment with high value for money that gives you a lot of peace of mind.
So let me note who this suits.
If you want to focus on spin. If you want to win points physically in topspin rallies. And if you want to seize the initiative right from the table. This is the rubber for people like that.
As for drive performance, there's no power loss, and that's thanks to the firmer sponge doing its job.The spin on serves is also surprisingly strong.

It's been on the market for quite a while now, but Yasaka really delivers. It's excellent. Serves, the short game, drives, blocks, all kinds of receive techniques — you never get stuck. The way it flies is just right too. And the lifespan is fantastic. It suits players who are stuck in a slump or coming back after a break, but it's also a rubber that active, top-level players can compete with confidently. There seems to be some variation in hardness between sheets, but if anything that makes it easier to match to your personal preference. Way safer bet than gambling on some pricier rubber from another brand.

I use it thick on both sides. The spin is amazing, and my backhand serve makes opponents net it or send it long
over and over. It's not the type that automatically spins on its own, so it's also fairly easy to mix in knuckle serves. It lasts a long time and the value for money is good too, so I'd recommend just going with Rakza 7 if you're unsure. It's the best. Most Yasaka rubbers are godly rubbers so I'll avoid saying it, but... it's a godly rubber. (Wait, I just said it lol)
This is basically the classic go-to inverted rubber at this point.
Speed is a little lacking, but the value for money is unbeatable, spin bites just fine, and control is good too. No durability issues.
(Honestly, it just tears through backspin and the loop is insane.)

This is a very easy-to-use rubber. It generates spin and has a decent amount of bounce too. It's also not too hard and not too soft, so I think it works fine on either the forehand or backhand. The price isn't too high either, so if you're not sure which rubber to go with, I'd recommend this one.
