Yasaka, using mainly natural rubber gum for the top sheet. This improves the level of grip and the power of spin drastically. The top sheet is combined with the new Power Sponge. The top sheet and Power Sponge work in perfect synergy, producing the Hybrid Energy rubber Rakza 7. When the player hits the ball hard, the rubber grips the ball and the stroke can be used to place the ball accurately, both in direction and length. The serve and short returns are very sharp and easy to handle. Due to the increased percentage of natural gum the durability is improved. A winning combination!

Used max thickness on both sides on a Clipper Wood.
Total weight is about 195g.Good points
The spin on loops went up a lot
Opponents often overshoot the table
Countering is really easy, works fine whether you take it late or early!
On the backhand, blocks never get pushed back, and pushes and counters are no problem eitherBad points
There's a mysterious dip sometimes. Even with a solid impact, the ball occasionally drops short. (This really bugs me)

On the forehand, red, thick. Weight was 70g before cutting, and after cutting to the blade's unusual shape it came out to 48g. That cream-colored sponge has a nice classic look.
Rakza 7 is a bit of an older rubber, from the same generation as Fastarc G1 and Vega Pro. Personally, I don't think you can go wrong with the spin-tension rubbers from this era.
On light hits it doesn't bounce too much, just the right amount, and it goes in without that "boing" flying-off feeling I got from G1.
Over the table, the grippy sheet lets you snap off sharp pushes, and flicks land easily too, so you can take the initiative right from the table.
For topspin drives it's a perfect 10 whether you're close to the table or at mid-distance. The spin on loop drives especially is amazing, and it makes most opponents fly off. Even players using Mark V on the backhand get blown off the table, yet it's still easy to control... Of course, speed drives against backspin are easy to hit too, so dealing with choppers is no problem. As a mid-level drive player like myself, it does everything I want to do on the forehand.
Even if this review isn't helpful, I think the best review for this rubber is simply that so many people still use it even after successors like Rakza X and Z, and new German rubbers like Rasanter, have come out.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

How I came to use it
I decided to switch from tacky rubber to a tension-type, so I picked Rakza 7, which I used to use a while back.
I originally had it on a 5-ply wood blade, but this time I tried it on an outer-ply carbon blade for the first time.My impressions after hitting with it
Since it's on an outer-ply blade, the speed really comes out. I was able to hit balls fast enough to get past a high schooler with a prefectural championship win. I do have a strong impact to begin with, so that's probably to be expected.
The ball flies in a flat, straight line, so it probably releases the ball quickly (partly because of the outer-ply blade too). Because of that, if you don't swing through and really sink the ball into the sponge, you won't get a good shot. That said, if you do swing through properly, the ball carries well.
I think it would probably suit an inner-ply blade best.Hope this is helpful for reference.

Out of everything I tried in the Rakza series, Rakza 7 turned out to be the best fit for me.
Right now I'm using it in medium-thick.
It's nice that the arc doesn't come out too high, but it also doesn't go flat and straight.
It also spins plenty, so low loop drives are easy to hit.
Serves have good bite too.
The control is good as well.
If I had to point out one thing, it's that speed is a bit hard to generate,
but for players whose style prioritizes spin over speed,

Let me sum it up in one line.
Spin-focused, not that much speed, serving is decently easy,
you can surprisingly still play well from away from the table, and above all, it's one of the best value-for-money rubbers out there

When it comes to spin performance, there's nothing to complain about.
The speed is also more than enough if you're a beginner or intermediate player.

It feels like you can still hit well even when you back off from the table. It's consistent whether you're close to the table, mid-distance, or far back. The arc is roughly similar to Tenergy 64. It was in max thickness so the weight bothered me a bit at first, but you get used to it within a week. I'd say it's recommended for intermediate to advanced players. The short game is easy. The loop drive is insane. Blocks are consistent. Counters are easy. I don't think it's for everyone, since it feels a little lacking in bounce. But it's an amazingly good rubber. Recommended.
