Powered by Spring Sponge Technology and with pimples of a larger diameter than other rubbers, Tenergy 25 creates dynamic attacks for close-to-the-table play.
Spring Sponge Technology is produced by the unique format of air bubbles within the sponge and the thin pimples of the highly flexible surface, enable dynamic topspin play with heavy rotation.
Tenergy 25-FX combines the same top-sheet of Tenergy 25 with a softer sponge layer and is adept at drop-shots, flicks, short pushes and quick counter attacks, making it perfect for close-to-the table play.
Within the Tenergy Family of rubbers, all styles of play can benefit from this new technology
- Pimples in
- Excellent short game, counter, and flick performance at the net
- Softer feel and easier handling than original 25
- Spin-friendly on serves and receive
- High spin generation on loop drives
- User-friendly for beginners and intermediate players

25 felt kind of like a Chinese rubber and wasn't great, but when I used 05 FX and thought "this is basically 64!?", it made me wonder if 25 FX might end up feeling like 05 too, so I tried it. Just as I expected, the feel on the ball is much softer than regular 25, and the ease of use and consistency are closer to 05. It still has 25's characteristics properly — the amount of spin, how the ball settles in the short game, and meeting the ball close to the table all made a solid impression.
From how the drive comes off the racket close to the table and how much force it takes, I thought I might be able to use it further back too, but there's no distance or extra carry to it. From mid-distance the ball just flies flat.
As long as you stay close to the table, this is a rubber that balances power and stability at a high level. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

This rubber just grips the ball, period.
I switched over from Tenergy 05, and right from forehand hitting practice I could tell this rubber lifts the ball well.
People often say it doesn't bounce, but with max thickness it's totally usable.
What I liked best was, as advertised, the counter game.
Counters where you drop the contact point and spin the ball back were especially easy to pull off.
It felt like a unique rubber with nothing quite like it out there! All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

My coach recommended this, so I put it on and tried it.
Drive → loops are easy
Push → gets good backspin
Chop → average
Block → consistent
Counter → average
Punch-block → consistent
Stop → averageThis was my first time using a Tenergy rubber,
and it's a really easy one to use within the Tenergy lineup.
Personally I found close-to-the-table play and smashes easier than drives or counters.
If it's your first time using Tenergy or Dignics, I'd recommend starting with Tenergy 25FX.
Definitely give it a try.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

The first time I used this rubber, I actually managed to beat a senior teammate I'd never once beaten before. Tamas's marketing emphasizes the short game and close-to-the-table play, and I genuinely think that's spot on. Also, there's nothing among the other tension rubbers out there that's really similar or close in performance — it's completely one of a kind. To sum it up point by point:
Spin: even when you really sink the ball in, the sponge is soft and grips well. Also, since the topsheet is hard, it grips even when you just brush it, and lets you handle even tough balls well.
Speed: not much when you drop back, but excellent up close.
Control: it flies nicely in whatever direction you aim the blade face.
Distance: not as much as other Tenergy rubbers, but still flies a normal amount.
Trajectory: draws a big arc and carries through. If it's too loose it can get punished (though it doesn't really come out too loose).
Short game: perfect.
Counter: perfect.
You can even chop with it in the sense of brushing the ball.
And so on — it's a pretty close to perfect rubber. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I really do think this rubber shows its true performance close to the table.
Loop drives, blocks, counters — techniques like these are very easy to pull off, and the control is good too. When I used regular 25, it was so hard that I couldn't hit a good drive, but this one trades a bit of power for a big boost in overall ease of use.
If you become an intermediate-to-advanced player and want more spin, I think it's good to progress from 25 FX → 05 FX → 05.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

As its reputation suggests, I think this rubber is built for playing close to the table. I wanted to play more up close to the table, so I put this on my forehand. As a result, flicks and drives over the table became easier to land, and up close I felt like I could blast through opponents in one shot. However, I'm the type who, when pushed back, likes to either punch straight through from further back or fight my way back into a favorable rally, and I felt the power dropped off when I was pushed back.
I think Tenergy 25 FX gives you the most power, and lands the most consistently, when you hit it with a snap-and-brush motion rather than pure brushing. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

First impression: the counter is insane. Power and accuracy are outstanding❗️
Serves have great spin too. As for the topspin drive, it has more power than 05.
You can pull off kill counters like Niwa.
I'd recommend it for close-to-the-table attacking players. It's a hidden gem❗️All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
