Powered by Spring Sponge Technology and with pimples of a larger diameter than other rubbers, Tenergy 25 creates dynamic attacks for close-to-the-table play.
Spring Sponge Technology is produced by the unique format of air bubbles within the sponge and the thin pimples of the highly flexible surface, enable dynamic topspin play with heavy rotation.
Tenergy 25-FX combines the same top-sheet of Tenergy 25 with a softer sponge layer and is adept at drop-shots, flicks, short pushes and quick counter attacks, making it perfect for close-to-the table play.
Within the Tenergy Family of rubbers, all styles of play can benefit from this new technology

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
The Tenergy 25FX is highly valued as a modified version of the original 25 that significantly improves usability by reducing hardness. While specializing in front-court play, the softer sponge enables all-around responses such as topspin loops and drives, earning support from many players.

The non-FX 25, with its low, thick pimples, was outstanding at putting spin on the ball,
but because of that it felt a bit harder, and I sometimes found it hard to handle on the backhand side.
With the FX version, though, both ease of spinning and control come together,
making it a really easy-to-use rubber that's ideal for the backhand side.

The spin and speed are incredible. I was amazed. On top of that, it's also easy to use on offense.

zukka (Experience: 6〜10 years) A rubber suited for close-to-table and mid-distance play

      Reviews by user

Just like the original, this rubber makes it easy to put spin on serves and in the short game. The catalog numbers show it's lower than the 05, but I felt the spin amount was actually higher on fine plays other than topspin drives.
On offense, the softer sponge makes it easier to hit topspin drives. The ball sits on the rubber well, and when you sink it in and hit, you get a real metallic sound. Meet-style shots are also very easy to do, and my push especially became stable.
It's also easy to block since you don't get pushed back by the opponent's power. Compared to the original you can also play a bit further back, but I think it suits players who fight close to the table or at mid-distance.

The feel is close to a bouncier version of Hurricane NEO3.

It suits players who block, smash, and counter close to the table.

Blocking in particular feels easy. If you're hitting drives from mid-distance, something like Tenergy 64 would probably be better.
