Vega Elite from XIOM: Equipped with a soft version of the "Carbo Sponge". This unique sponge gives a soft and exciting feel, and provides the same level of energy efficiency as the harder Vega Pro and Asia. The new "Hyper Elasto" top layer of natural rubber has a special pimple structure for great trampoline effect and extraordinary dwelling time. The combination of the special sponge and top layer endows Vega Elite with mighty control, as well as an innovative spin performance. It creates the largest safe zone (window) above the net for topspin attacks. As a result, it will greatly reduce the probability of mistakes. A loud metallic sound at contact also helps the player adjust their shot.
Vega Elite is recommended for players of modern European style, who play with continuous and controlled topspin on both sides.

    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveVery soft and easy to control, the ball flies without much swing, making it perfect for beginners. Especially recommended for kids and female players.
▽ CriticalToo soft causes the sheet to lose tension on hard hits, resulting in the ball dropping. Short game techniques become difficult as the soft rubber bounces even on light touches.

It's easy to control, and the ball flies even without a big swing, so I'd recommend it for beginners.
Even at an intermediate level, if you're someone who doesn't swing much on the backhand, it could work well there too.

      Chinese Very easy to use!

      Reviews by user

I'm using it with a Gareidia ALC, and it's a great match!! Taking advantage of the Gareidia's bounce, my speed went up!
Personally, I think that if you're hitting and it makes a nice sound, that's proof you're using it well. Once you start making a good sound on contact, that's when your table tennis has improved!
So if you're on the fence about this rubber, please give it a try!

The control is really good! That metallic sound is addictive! Since the control is so good, I'd recommend putting it on the backhand. Recommended for beginners!!

TMK (Experience: 2〜3 years) Great first tension rubber

      Reviews by user

This rubber is extremely soft, so I'd recommend putting it on your backhand. Also, for a tension rubber, the speed and spin are toned down, which makes control very easy, so it's a perfect fit for someone using a tension rubber for the first time. That said, because it's so soft, I personally wasn't a huge fan of that distinctive Elite feel on contact. If you're looking for power, I'd recommend a different, harder tension rubber instead.

Dora I Doraemon (Experience: 4〜5 years) A metallic sound!

      Reviews by user

I had this on a Japanese penhold blade with a medium sponge, and I felt the appeal was the good control and the ability to place the ball into specific spots.
Speed and spin are above average and easy to handle.
Oh, and above all, the sound is great, haha.

      under Good for chopping too

      Reviews by user

      I tried this on a friend's recommendation.

It was described as stable and spin-focused, so I thought it might work for chopping too.

Using it, it felt really good. It's super stable and easy to chop with.

I'm not a serious chopper, but the stability on attacking shots is also good.

That said, the attacking shots aren't super powerful, so I'm hoping to make up for that with the blade.

If you're expecting something similar to the other Vega rubbers, the softness will hit you as a shock.
The ball sinks deep into the sponge and bounces back nicely, so the control is good and the feel on contact is good too.
That said, the short game is tricky because being so soft, even a light touch makes the ball pop up.
