Vega Elite from XIOM: Equipped with a soft version of the "Carbo Sponge". This unique sponge gives a soft and exciting feel, and provides the same level of energy efficiency as the harder Vega Pro and Asia. The new "Hyper Elasto" top layer of natural rubber has a special pimple structure for great trampoline effect and extraordinary dwelling time. The combination of the special sponge and top layer endows Vega Elite with mighty control, as well as an innovative spin performance. It creates the largest safe zone (window) above the net for topspin attacks. As a result, it will greatly reduce the probability of mistakes. A loud metallic sound at contact also helps the player adjust their shot.
Vega Elite is recommended for players of modern European style, who play with continuous and controlled topspin on both sides.

My preconception was that this was a beginner's rubber. But when I actually tried it (since I mostly play with long pips), I found it gave plenty of control even for someone like me who's not great with inverted rubber. It gives the impression of resisting incoming spin while still letting your serves bite. If you're someone who used to fly the ball with speed glue on a high-elasticity FX-type rubber back in the day, definitely give this a try. It's a piece of equipment that reminds you how fun table tennis is, and it's great value for money.

This rubber is really soft, so I can't recommend putting it on your forehand. On your backhand, though, it feels great. You get a decent amount of speed and a decent amount of spin. Blocking is also really easy with it. If you're not sure what to put on your backhand, just going with this one isn't a bad option either.

This rubber excels at control and spin. The speed is kept in check, so it's very easy to use close to the table. I'd recommend it for beginners on both sides, and for the backhand of players moving past the beginner stage!

The feel when you hit the ball is very soft. It has good balance. It might be a bit tricky for people used to tacky rubber.

It has a reputation for being a soft rubber, so I was planning to use it on my backhand, but it was heavier than I expected and worked better for me on my forehand. If your level is around what it takes to make it to a prefectural tournament, I think this is enough for both sides. Can't speak for buff male students though. Go use Tenergy instead.

It's soft and has excellent control! So I'd recommend putting it on your backhand!!! Since it's soft, it's easy to put spin on and easy to aim your shots, so if you're not all about speed, this is definitely a sheet I'd recommend.

Yutchi @ cut The most usable in the Vega series

This was the last rubber I needed to complete the full Vega lineup, but it's the lowest-performing one in the Vega series.
That said, it's perfect as an intro to tension rubbers! In exchange for lower absolute spin and speed numbers, it's very easy to use.
It has no real weak points, and it matches any blade. Short game shots tend to pop up a bit, but you'll get used to that quickly.
I'd recommend it for beginners just getting into tension rubbers, or for the backhand of intermediate players! All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
