Vega Elite from XIOM: Equipped with a soft version of the "Carbo Sponge". This unique sponge gives a soft and exciting feel, and provides the same level of energy efficiency as the harder Vega Pro and Asia. The new "Hyper Elasto" top layer of natural rubber has a special pimple structure for great trampoline effect and extraordinary dwelling time. The combination of the special sponge and top layer endows Vega Elite with mighty control, as well as an innovative spin performance. It creates the largest safe zone (window) above the net for topspin attacks. As a result, it will greatly reduce the probability of mistakes. A loud metallic sound at contact also helps the player adjust their shot.
Vega Elite is recommended for players of modern European style, who play with continuous and controlled topspin on both sides.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Highly evaluated for its soft feel and excellent control performance, while speed and spin are intentionally moderate, positioning it as an entry-level model for tension rubbers or ideal for backhand use. Recognized as a cost-effective option suitable for beginners to intermediate players.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Extremely soft and pleasant touch
    • Superior control performance
    • Moderate speed and spin
    • Ideal for tension rubber beginners
    • Highly recommended for backhand placement
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveVery soft and easy to control, the ball flies without much swing, making it perfect for beginners. Especially recommended for kids and female players.
▽ CriticalToo soft causes the sheet to lose tension on hard hits, resulting in the ball dropping. Short game techniques become difficult as the soft rubber bounces even on light touches.

It's really soft, and the only Vega rubber with a white sponge.
It makes a huge sound on contact.
I used the 2.0mm version, and the ball sinks into the sponge so much
it feels like it's about to hit the blade.
      The control is great too.
The concept seems to be that even elementary and middle schoolers can become an "Elite,"
and I think that's exactly right.

It leans more toward consistency than spin. It's not fast, but its spin performance is above average. It's easy to use for beginners.
It's the kind of rubber you can reach for as a safe pick whenever you're stuck deciding what rubber to use.

A rubber that's not fast, soft, has good control, and makes a nice metallic sound.

Tomo lantern (Experience: 4〜5 years) That metallic sound is irresistible

      Reviews by user

I love that metallic sound when you hit the ball (lol).
I'd say it's more of a control-type rubber, so it's a perfect fit for the backhand side.
Since it doesn't fly too much, pushes and stops are easy, so overall it lets you take control of the point on the receive.

The topsheet is on the harder side with no wasted bounce, so serves, pushes, receives,
and stops are all no problem.
Also, since the sponge is soft, the drive grips the ball well too, and the sound on contact is crisp.
