Highly rated as a control-focused rubber for beginners to intermediate players, while opinions are divided on the lack of speed and spin. Many recommend its use on the backhand side.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Excellent control performance with high stability
    • Soft sheet and sponge make it easy for beginners to handle
    • Particularly suitable for backhand side use
    • Good cost-performance with long durability
    • Limited maximum speed and spin potential
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveVery easy to use even for beginners, with solid spin generation and good speed output. An extremely versatile rubber suitable for beginners through intermediate players.
▽ CriticalThe rubber is too soft and absorbs the ball excessively, causing net errors for aggressive players. Speed-driven smashes struggle with stability and lack power.

Just a table tennis club (Experience: 2〜3 years) Rubber with great ball-grip

      Reviews by user

It's soft, plain and simple. Even a light swing makes the ball sink right into it, so I'd recommend it to beginners. It's really stable and easy to land shots with.

I originally had TSP Grandy on both my forehand and backhand, but when it came time for my first rubber change, I put Vega Europe on the forehand. As a result, it's quite soft and easy to use, and the control is really effective. It grips the ball decently too. That said, since it's soft, it doesn't produce much speed. I'd recommend it to beginners like me, or to anyone switching to their second rubber.

Table tennis aho (Experience: 2〜3 years) Good control

      Reviews by user

The control on this is just amazing.
It feels like if it touches the blade, it goes in.
The balance between spin and speed is great,
so even someone who's been playing table tennis for less than a year can handle it easily.
There's nothing it struggles with — it handles every technique competently.
      I think it's a great choice for your 2nd or 3rd rubber.
It really lives up to its reputation as a big hit.
Thanks for reading all the way to the end.

Table tennis person (Experience: 6〜10 years)

I used Vega Europe in thick (2.0) on my backhand.
Just like it says, this is a control-oriented rubber and the control really is good, but when smashing the ball tends to drop a bit and sometimes catches the net, so once you get used to it I think it might be worth switching from thick to max thickness.
The control is great, so I think it's really good for beginners learning the basics!

I think this is basically a backhand-oriented rubber, but it also suits beginners' forehands or hard blades. When it's time to switch, I'd recommend Asia DF if you want more spin, Asia if you want more speed, or Elite/Europe DF if you want something softer.

      Reviews by user

It's soft and lets you hit the ball with good stability! On top of that it grips the ball well, so I'd recommend it to beginner to intermediate players. If you want a stable topspin drive, definitely give this a try!

Hot spring table tennis (Experience: 4〜5 years) Until you get used to it

      Reviews by user

I have this on my forehand at 2.0mm.
I decided to get back into table tennis after a while and bought this rubber.
After hitting with it, the control feels great!
The speed is decent too, partly thanks to my blade. It's not like it doesn't grip the ball at all either — I think it's plenty enough to get used to as I ease back in!
