Vega China from Xiom: The combination of sticky surface top sheet with extremely hard sponge has been a key weapon for China to dominate the modern table tennis world. But the uncomfortable truth is that unhealthy external chemicals like speed glue are required to balance out the proper elasticity from these hard rubbers. With world renowned Tensor Bios technology, the hard sponge on Vega China has been softened to reach the proper elasticity.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
This rubber is characterized by excellent spin performance and a hard sponge, establishing itself as a difficult-to-use rubber for advanced players. It receives high praise from cutters and spin-focused players, though opinions on control and speed performance are divided.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Superior spin performance achieving high rotation comparable to sticky rubber
    • Unique ball feel with hard sponge and soft sheet combination
    • Excellent for defensive techniques such as cutting and pushing
    • Requires adaptation time for users transitioning from tension rubbers
    • Difficult for beginners; strongly suited for advanced players
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveDrives hit solidly with excellent spin that lands reliably on the opponent's court. Hard and heavy, making it recommendable for powerful players as an excellent rubber.
▽ CriticalDoesn't bounce at all, and cutting loses spin without enough rebound. There's a dilemma where pushing shots lose rotation, making it difficult for cutters to use effectively.

      ja also Hard to use!

      Reviews by user

How should I put it... it's hard to use.
The spin it produces is inconsistent, so while you do get tricky balls, I can't control them myself.

That said, for a player who plays with unpredictable balls, it can be a great weapon.

I use it on my backhand. Serves bite really well, but I end up only being able to do fast serves. Also, control in the short game is difficult. (>_<) If you don't read the placement carefully, it goes long (maybe that's just my lack of skill though). That said, chiquitas from mid-distance get strong sidespin, and the way the chiquita curves and still goes in is amazing. Backhand topspin drives get a lot of spin. Also, for blocking, the combination of tension and tackiness gives you fast, heavy blocks. It bites really well on chops too, so it handles all kinds of situations. That said, it might be difficult for beginners.

Easier to use than Hurricane. Similar to Shoryu. It's got speed too — a good rubber.

      My first tacky rubber~~
Bought it on a friend's recommendation (he's stronger than me)
      My thoughts
      Topspin drives are... insane
They go in great and generate a ton of spin
      Serves bite really hard
but short serves are hard to produce
also, is it soft or hard?
      I honestly can't tell the hardness (o_O?)
      Personally I'd say it's more for choppers~

I borrowed this from a chopper senpai who uses it.
It's incredibly hard, so it doesn't bounce much.
But it has the kind of spin grip you'd expect from a tacky rubber.
I think it would be hard to use for attacking.
      I'd recommend it for choppers.
I think you can get really sharp, biting chops with it.

My first impression was that I honestly couldn't tell if it was soft or hard (lol). It is hard, but the topsheet is a bit soft, so I think it's easy to generate spin. You get spin on par with Chinese rubber!
It's affected quite a lot by the opponent's spin, so control was difficult.
I felt like you need power to get speed out of it, so I think it's easier to use on the forehand.

It's hard and doesn't fly much, but in exchange the spin is insane!
Anyway, you can use it for both offense and defense, so I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to attack with spin!
