Vega China from Xiom: The combination of sticky surface top sheet with extremely hard sponge has been a key weapon for China to dominate the modern table tennis world. But the uncomfortable truth is that unhealthy external chemicals like speed glue are required to balance out the proper elasticity from these hard rubbers. With world renowned Tensor Bios technology, the hard sponge on Vega China has been softened to reach the proper elasticity.
- Pimples in
- Superior spin performance achieving high rotation comparable to sticky rubber
- Unique ball feel with hard sponge and soft sheet combination
- Excellent for defensive techniques such as cutting and pushing
- Requires adaptation time for users transitioning from tension rubbers
- Difficult for beginners; strongly suited for advanced players

Even among tacky rubbers, this one is highly tacky. If you're switching over from a tension-tacky rubber or a low-tack rubber, you'll find speed and control tricky at first. It's a pretty quirky rubber meant for advanced players.

This is a German-made tacky rubber, but it has about a level-3 tackiness, similar to Chinese rubbers like Hurricane or Skyline!
But once I actually hit with it, the trajectory came out flat and straight,
and the speed is hard to believe for a tacky rubber!
That said, there were times the spin just didn't come! This one's for advanced players!

This rubber really gets spin on the ball!
Chinese rubbers tend to be hard, lack stability, and are slow, but this rubber, while not quite up to Chinese-rubber levels, still gets good spin — and the speed is amazing.
This is the best tacky rubber I've ever used.

I'm a close-to-the-table all-around style player using an unorthodox rubber combo.
This was my first time using this kind of tacky rubber, and it was easier to use than I expected. It gets plenty of spin, of course, and more speed than I expected too. If you're a drive player with good power, I'd recommend it. For someone like me, playing a close-to-the-table all-around style with an off-rubber combo, I highly recommend it.All Speed Spin Control

The topsheet is hard, and the tackiness is on the strong side.
With light hits, the ball doesn't sink into the sponge much and barely bounces at all.
That said, if you really sink the ball in when you hit, you can get drives with real speed behind them.
On pushes and stops, you take the full brunt of incoming spin, which makes it a bit tricky to handle. All Speed Spin Control

Since it's called "China," I bought it expecting a tacky rubber with the kind of spin you get from Chinese rubbers... but in the end it felt like a rubber stuck in the middle.
It does get good spin, but if that's what you want, I think Hurricane is the better choice.
That said, if you want a bit more power added to a Hurricane-like feel, this could work too!All Speed Spin Control
