Squid how (Experience: 2〜3 years) You won't get it until you're used to it

      Reviews by user

After using it for a few months, unless you really get used to it, the feel of the spin catching stays kind of hazy.
But once you get used to it, spin comes easily and topspin drives go in easily too. (^^) It's a rubber that takes some getting used to, but it's a really good one, so if you're on the fence, why not give it a try? (^_^)v

The consistency on topspin drives is amazing!
Serves especially get a lot of spin.
I'm a drive player, so I really like it.

Recommended for players who've started getting the feel of putting spin on the ball with topspin drives, etc.
If you want something a bit softer than this rubber, Vega Asia is a good pick,
and if you want something harder than this rubber, I think Vega Pro is the way to go.

Wood users (Experience: 2〜3 years) Stable

      Reviews by user

Since switching to this rubber, easy mistakes on my forehand have dropped a lot. The ball sinks into the sponge well, so it grips a ton of spin, making it easy to hit drives that dip down hard. Serves take a bit of a knack to put spin on, but they spin just fine normally.

      OK (Experience: 6〜10 years) Stable

      Reviews by user

Both forehand hitting and short shots are stable.
On topspin drives, it grips a lot of spin and flies with a nice arc.

Recommended for anyone who wants stability and plenty of spin.

Yutatan (Experience: 2〜3 years) Backhand is insane

      Reviews by user

It's surprising. Just swing casually and the backhand shots go in. Once you get used to it, the short game is super easy too - it really surprised me lol. Why not give it a try?

I was using Tenergy 64 on my backhand, and switched to Vega on my backhand right before a national tournament, and it's really good!! The feel is about the same as Tenergy, maybe a bit less speed and a bit more control? The amount of spin doesn't seem to have changed much either? Very easy to use. Personally - maybe it's also because I'm not that skilled - but I find this one easier to use.
