First of all, it's just super stable! (especially loop drives)
If there's a weak point, it's that stops tend to pop up
But once you get used to it, you can do all kinds of things as an all-rounder

I used it at 2.0mm on my forehand.
When just bouncing the ball or hitting lightly, I thought it didn't have much bounce, but when I drove it, I got plenty of both spin and speed on a powerful drive. That said, loop drives are easier to hit than speed drives, so I think it's better to swing with that image in mind. Stops, pushes, and chops all bite well, and overall I felt it was a rubber that's easy to handle at an intermediate level.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I used to have Fastarc S1 on, but compared to that, the stability here is amazing.
S1 wins on power when you swing all out, but at 70-80% power, Vega Japan is completely better for drive stability. I basically never feel like I'm going to miss. Plenty of spin too, and control is more than enough. As a one-sided penhold looper, another big plus for me is that besides drives, all the other techniques — serves, pushes, short blocks, blocks, and push-blocks — come together really well as an all-rounder.
I just got back into table tennis after a 10-year break and wanted to try out different rubbers, but I think I'm already falling hard for Vega Japan as just my second rubber.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

As the name suggests, it's a rubber that's very similar to Vega Tour. That said, for attacking techniques like topspin drives and meet hits, this one feels like it has
more power.
Also, the catalog lists the same hardness (45 degrees), but it feels harder to me.
You can put a lot of spin on your serves.
However, compared to Vega Tour, in the short game
I felt the extra bounce made the ball pop up a bit more sometimes. The packaging looks cool and it's great in both value for money and performance, so I recommend it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I've been using G1 and CURLP-1 for a year.
I got tired of G1, so I tried buying this one.
It gets more spin than I expected and it's stable too, but it might not suit super-attacking players (I'm a defensive player, so take this as just a reference).All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I bought this at a local table tennis shop.
Drive: I think it's good against backspin, but I can't really say much about speed drives. I think it's more suited to looping.
Push: I have thick on my forehand, and the ball floats up a little.
Flick: Maybe it's because I use the Swat series, but it feels a bit heavy. I think max thickness would be tough for a junior high student.
Smash: The ball sinks in nicely, but control is difficult. Some of that is probably my lack of skill, but the ball tends to fly up a bit here too.
Overall: A rubber that's hard to judge. I think people who like it will really like it, but for a junior high student, it feels kind of mediocre.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

This is incredibly easy to use
Speed is more than enough
Drives go in easily and I really like it
But the rubber shrinks quickly
For me too, the blade starts showing through after just 3 months
