EVOLUTION EL-P is the most elastic rubber of the EVOLUTION rubber series. EL-P with its medium sponge perfectly fits in between the harder MX-P or MX-S and the softer FX-P and thus completes the EVOLUTION series.
The selected pimple geometry of the elastic EL-P does not even come close to the other EVOLUTION versions in terms of spin and speed. Very precise and powerful strokes can be realised at half distance or at the table.
EVOLUTION EL-P: chosen by most of the Topspin players for whom the MX version is too hard and the FX version too soft, however putting the emphasis on rotation and power.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
The Evolution EL-P is highly evaluated as a balanced rubber that combines rotation performance comparable to Tenergy with excellent stability through its soft sponge and high-grip sheet. It is supported as a cost-effective option usable by players of all levels from beginners to advanced players.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Excellent spin performance with high rotation on drives and serves
    • High stability, allowing consistent shots even with poor positioning
    • Excels in short-distance techniques like flicks, chiquitas, and stops
    • Well-balanced hardness suitable for both forehand and backhand use
    • Long durability with excellent cost-performance ratio
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThis rubber reproduces your intended shots consistently in both short-distance play and drives while providing reliable balance. It offers excellent performance with outstanding durability and is suitable for players across all skill levels.
▽ CriticalModerate speed with insufficient power on rear-court drives; smashes and angle shots require precise aiming. The rubber tends to slip when brushed, making a gripping stroke more effective.

Yoppi (Experience: More than 20 years) Good balance!

This is a truly wonderful rubber.
I was thinking "Tibhar, huh?" at first, but whether you sink the ball in or brush it, the spin is incredible!
Also, the speed is just okay, but since I care more about control, it doesn't bother me much. It lasts a long time too, so I'd recommend this rubber.

      Mats ~ (Experience: 2〜3 years) God-tier rubber

      Reviews by user

The spin is insane. The spin is about the same as Tenergy 05, or even more.
But! The speed is low, so it's not for people looking for speed.
Well, thanks to that the control is amazing though.
This is exactly the rubber I was looking for. I don't think I'll be changing for a while.

      I switched from Evolution MX-P.

MX-P was good too, but the slightly softer EL-P is better suited for drives where you sink the ball into the sponge.

For drives where you brush and drive through the ball: MX-P

For drives where you sink the ball in: EL-P

That seems like the way to choose.
As for the basics, both are top-level.
