EVOLUTION EL-P is the most elastic rubber of the EVOLUTION rubber series. EL-P with its medium sponge perfectly fits in between the harder MX-P or MX-S and the softer FX-P and thus completes the EVOLUTION series.
The selected pimple geometry of the elastic EL-P does not even come close to the other EVOLUTION versions in terms of spin and speed. Very precise and powerful strokes can be realised at half distance or at the table.
EVOLUTION EL-P: chosen by most of the Topspin players for whom the MX version is too hard and the FX version too soft, however putting the emphasis on rotation and power.

I put it on a blade called the Ebony from WRM and test-hit it.
Just one word.
It's just insane. When I used it in a match, it went in so absurdly well that my opponent got frustrated and gave up on the match.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

It's a well-balanced rubber.
If I had to pick one strength, I'd say the spin performance is high.
The topsheet has excellent grip on the ball, so it never feels like it's slipping.
It also has plenty of speed built in.
On top of that, the ball dwells on the rubber nicely, which makes control easier too.
I think this is a rubber I'd recommend for people who want plenty of spin but also want to keep speed and ease of use.
By the way, if you want a bit more power, the EL-S is good, and if you want a bit more stability, the FX-S is good.
The Evolution line has as many as six variants, so it's nice that you can pick the one that really fits you~.

The topsheet is on the harder side and makes it easy to put spin on the ball — the amount of spin on serves and the short game is on par with Tenergy 05.
Speed falls a bit short, but the power and stability of your topspin drive are comparable to Tenergy 05.
The sponge is medium hardness, making it more manageable than Tenergy 05, so it suits average players well.

It's a tension rubber, but you need your own power to generate speed. The ball sinks into the sponge just the right amount, so your topspin drive is very stable and gets plenty of spin. Even if your form breaks down or you get tense, you can keep sending good balls. It cuts well and counters stay stable too, so I'd recommend it for choppers as well!

It's really well balanced... No matter how you hit it, you get proper speed, and the spin comes out just as consistently. The rubber itself is soft too, so control is good and it's easy to use! I'd recommend it for the backhand.

To wax (Experience: Less than a year) Insane amount of spin

This was the rubber I switched to the first time I ever changed rubbers. It put a ton of spin on the ball and felt great. The topsheet felt hard and the sponge felt soft. If anything, brushing the ball seems to work better than sinking it in and hitting through it. I'd highly recommend this to anyone changing rubbers for the first time. Though maybe because I used the thick version, control felt a little tricky. Sorry for the long post from someone who's still fairly new to table tennis.

To wax (Experience: Less than a year) Good in both speed and spin

Switched over from Hammond. It was a really good rubber. It's aimed at beginners and intermediate players, but I felt the control was a bit tricky. It's spin-focused but still has good speed, so I'd recommend the 1.9mm thickness.
