EVOLUTION EL-P is the most elastic rubber of the EVOLUTION rubber series. EL-P with its medium sponge perfectly fits in between the harder MX-P or MX-S and the softer FX-P and thus completes the EVOLUTION series.
The selected pimple geometry of the elastic EL-P does not even come close to the other EVOLUTION versions in terms of spin and speed. Very precise and powerful strokes can be realised at half distance or at the table.
EVOLUTION EL-P: chosen by most of the Topspin players for whom the MX version is too hard and the FX version too soft, however putting the emphasis on rotation and power.

The grip on the ball is excellent and it's easy to put spin on, so it performs well on every technique — serves, drives, pushes, stops, you name it. The sponge is soft, so it's easy to use even for intermediate players.

The whole Evolution series is excellent, but this rubber in particular puts real power behind the ball. I'd recommend it for players who use their footwork properly and can hit from a solid position even in matches — intermediate level and above!

Since I play single-sided penhold, I picked EL-P for its seemingly good balance, and it felt really great.
Serves grip a lot of spin, drives are flawless, and I could get exquisite control on backhand blocks too.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

The bounce feels like a high-tension rubber, but since the sheet is soft, it doesn't turn into too wild a ride.

The reviews here were good, so I gave it a try.
Maybe it's because I'm using the max thickness version, but it didn't grip as much spin as I expected (or is it just hard to load spin?).
I usually only use medium thickness, so that might just be me not being used to it.
MX-P bites into the ball far more.
Overall, control is good and it's easy to do a lot of techniques, but pushes tend to fly long, so fine technique was tricky.
The sound of the ball hitting was good.
That said, the Evolution series is heavy, so max thickness might be tough on a medium penhold blade...All Speed Spin Control

The sheet has great grip on the ball, and the amount of spin you get on serves and in the short game is incredible.
Thanks to the reasonably soft sponge, it's also easy to attack with — a very easy to use rubber overall.All Speed Spin Control
