Ventus Speed is the hardest and fastest variant of the TSP Ventus series. It takes a while to get used to, but once you do, it gives great speed and plenty of spin — I think it's a good rubber.
I'd recommend it for intermediate players.P.S.

The feel on contact is soft, with a kind of "boyoing" holding sensation, and it gives you good distance. I think some people will really like that feeling. As for spin, the topsheet grabs the ball easily, so lifting backspin with a drive is easy, and pushes have good bite. A hard blade might suit it well.

The sponge is soft but still has good firmness to it, and it's got good rebound.
Also, by really sinking the ball into the sponge, you get more spin and more stable control too.

I switched over from the Xiom Zalt.
I changed to it around 11/14, and it took over a month to get used to.
But once I got used to it, my topspin drives got more stable,
it delivered proper power even in away-from-the-table play,
and it puts a huge amount of spin on the ball,
so overall it was really good.That said, it also feels like it flies a bit too much,
so for someone without much power like me,
I'd recommend the Spin version. As for the Soft version though, it's too soft and doesn't give you much power,
so I wouldn't really recommend that one.All Speed Spin Control

In my mind, "TSP" used to mean "beginner to intermediate level."
This rubber has genuinely pulled off the feat of covering everyone from beginners to top-level players.
Out of every rubber that's ever come out, I think this is the "best" one. At least for me.All Speed Spin Control

It's supposed to be the hardest in the series, but it's actually pretty soft.
It's way softer than something like Vega Pro.
The feel on contact is unique — there's no real sense of the ball catching, yet
it still puts on plenty of spin. It's got good speed too, and it's easy to control.
The ball-holding is good and it's soft, so I think it
pairs well with a harder blade.
For 4,725 yen, I think this is pretty great, but
some people might feel like "this feel on contact isn't quite for me."All Speed Spin Control

I haven't used it for long, so this'll be a simplified review.
The sponge isn't as hard as I expected, and the ball-holding is outstanding, so I got a good impression of the control on topspin-type techniques and forehand chops.
The topsheet is a little on the harder side, so pushes are easy to control and the bite is good too.
I couldn't quite get the feel for putting spin on serves...
The sponge is max thickness, so it was hard to put a lot of spin on it.It's not on the market yet, but this seems like a rubber that pairs better with a harder blade. My guess is
my blade flexes a lot, so the ball stayed on too long and I couldn't get full speed and spin out of it.
For a chopping blade, something hard for cutting like the Koji Matsushita Offensive would probably balance out well.
Koji Matsushita Offensive + Ventus Speed + Curl P-4 sounds like it'd be a perfect match. You can get that whole set at Yamato Table Tennis, haha.All Speed Spin Control
