Ventus Speed is the hardest and fastest variant of the TSP Ventus series. When designing this offensive rubber, the Japanese rubber experts focused on perfect balance between high speed, maximum spin development and great control. The open-pore 45° sponge of Ventus Speed features the new “Optimized Rotation Concept” and is truly made for spin. Thanks the new sponge design, this new TSP development guarantees longer ball contact which results in more rotational energy transfer on the ball. In addition, the higher trajectory resulting from the “Optimized Rotation Concept” provides for great feel and more control in your play. The fast performance top rubber sheet of Ventus Speed develops tons of power and tremendous drive both for aggressive opening loops and mid-distance topspin attacks. It got some buzz for a while when famous coaches started using it, but it's ended up a bit overshadowed since the Super Ventus came out...
That said, it's still, without question, a good rubber.
First, it's fast and consistent at the same time.
It bounces well while keeping a stable arc, which makes it easy to string together attacks without a break.And in terms of spin, considering how easily it comes off, the spin performance is quite high too.
It's very well suited to drives that dig into a plastic ball.The sheer distance might admittedly be tough to match, but unlike the Super Ventus, the sponge's hardness never really gets in the way — it's an excellent, quirk-free rubber.

Even when I hit it hard, it felt like the ball stayed on the table. Though it did feel a bit soft. It's also easy to lift backspin, so I found it easy to use overall.

It's an excellent rubber that nails all three — speed, spin, and control — at a high level without any quirks.
It's on the soft side, so it pairs easily with any blade and works fine on both forehand and backhand. The price is cheap for what you get, so if you're on the fence, it's a solid pick. As for weight, it's heavier than the Ventus Spin/Soft, maybe around average for a tension rubber, or a touch heavier.
Personally I think it'd leave an even better impression if it were 3-4g lighter — paired with a heavy blade it feels a bit hefty, so that's a small knock against it. It's worth using, so give it a try.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Drives are really easy to hit with this.
It grabs spin and produces speed.
In particular, lifting backspin balls is really easy‼

This might be true of the whole Ventus series, but this rubber really has no quirks at all. True to its "Speed" name, it does have decent speed, but above all it's soft, so spin is easy to put on and you get stable control. I think this is the rubber I'd recommend most for beginners who struggle with consistency or don't have much power yet!

This rubber prioritizes stability over raw power. The sheet is soft, and I feel more grip on the ball than with similarly German-made Fastarc or Rakza, making it easy to lift and giving drives a stable feel. Its spin performance and distance beat the similarly categorized Rozena — actually, overall I feel Ventus outperforms Rozena across the board.
It's also great value for money, and as other reviewers have said, once that unique squishy feel on contact clicks with you, it's a rubber you'll want to keep buying again and again.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
