I borrowed a friend's and hit with it. Even with a light touch it feels very soft. But strangely enough, even hard shots don't drop off, and the ball carries further than I expected. Personally I'd recommend using it on the backhand, but I think it's fine on the forehand too for beginners or people who like a soft feel. True to having "Spin" in the name, it's outstanding at how easily it puts spin on the ball.

It's not as soft as the Soft version in the same line, but it's still a fairly soft rubber.
Besides women and juniors, I think it would also suit men who aren't confident in their backhand or their swing speed.For advanced players competing at the national level, Speed or Super Ventus would probably be a better choice. Even for men, if you want to add a bit of attack while still mainly rallying from the backhand, Spin might make that easy.
I have it on a harder blade myself. On the backhand, drives grip the ball well, and on flatter meet-the-ball shots you can still hold the ball and pop it out, so both styles work fine. (I asked other users too, and they said it's easy to hit flat with it as well.)
Want bounce! Want spin!
Want it to pop off the rubber easily but also want it to hold the ball! I think it's versatile enough even for people who want it all.
Overall, I feel this suits high-school-age men and up better on the backhand than the forehand. For women and juniors, I think it's fine on the forehand too.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Great control and excellent spin. This rubber lets you generate plenty of backspin on pushes; topspin drives are slower but come with a lot of spin, and blocking is maybe a bit weak since the ball's speed tends to fall apart. I'd suggest an all-around (or slightly more attacking) playing style on the backhand to really surprise people with the spin. The soft rubber pairs perfectly with a hard blade, giving you a great all-around setup. The price is no problem given the rubber's quality and how long it lasts.

I used it on the backhand, but unless you're really speed-focused, I think intermediate players could use it on the forehand too. The sheet grips the ball well, so drives are easy. The speed is decent, but it does feel a bit lacking. Still, the control is good, so I think it could be a really strong weapon for a playing style that mixes in a lot of spin. The advantage of the Ventus series is that it has no weird quirks, which makes it very easy to use! The rubber isn't heavy either, so personally I'd choose this over Vega. For a tension rubber in this price range, the value for money is high.

Before I re-rubbered, I had Rakza 7 on the forehand and Rakza 7 Soft on the backhand of my Timo Boll ALC. The Rakza 7 Soft on the backhand was great, but the Rakza 7 on the forehand was hard and let go of the ball fast, so I often dropped drives or returned the ball without fully putting spin on it. So I decided to try a rubber I hadn't used before and go softer, and settled on Ventus Spin. Also, its speed rating didn't seem to be that high, but I read here that you can make up for that with a blade that generates speed on its own, so that's what decided it for me.
After re-rubbering, I had Ventus Spin on the forehand and Rakza 7 Soft on the backhand. When I actually hit with it, I got basically no power at all. Both spin and speed lose out to Rakza 7 Soft. When I flipped the blade around and hit with Rakza 7 Soft on the forehand, I really understood how great Rakza 7 Soft is. In terms of feel, Rakza 7 Soft is about as strong as Tenergy 05. That said, if you seriously let the ball sink in properly when you hit, the ball comes off slower but you get speed on par with Rakza 7 Soft. Spin, though, still can't compete. I'd recommend this for players who want to build up their forehand.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Works fine on either the forehand or the backhand.
The control is outstanding, so I'd recommend it for anyone who wants to play matches with consistency.

Whether you can really master it is another question... beginners can technically use it, but I'd worry about whether they can really grip and control the ball with it. This is for people who'd love to buy something in the Fastarc line but are put off by the price. Recommended for intermediate players.
