This new Tenergy is a really well-balanced rubber!
But looking at it the other way, that also means nothing about it really stands out.
It depends on the player, but if you feel the 05 lacks speed or the 64 lacks spin, the 80 might be a good fit for you.All Speed Spin Control

A rubber whose performance is basically the average of the 05 and 64. It makes a nice metallic sound on contact, which I like. It spins well, it's fast, and it barely has any downsides.

The only downside is that it doesn't bounce much,

I think the description "bounces more than Tenergy 05, spins more than Tenergy 64" is spot on.

I switched over from Tenergy 05.
It's faster than the 05 and flies really well.The 05 might have a slight edge on serves, but I don't really notice much difference. A friend who received my serves said the same thing.
The short game is surprisingly easy to handle. The sponge seems to be a bit softer.
It's marketed as being right between the 05 and 64, and that's exactly what it feels like.
