Praised for balanced performance as a forehand soft rubber, though some note the lack of distinctive features. Highly evaluated for stable switching from backhand soft rubber and beginner-friendly characteristics.

▽ CriticalLacks distinctive speed or spin characteristics, feeling middle-ground among forehand soft rubbers. Insufficient for players seeking flashy winners or spin-based variation.

Lemon-chan (Experience: 6〜10 years) Better for flat hits than spin

      Reviews by user

Both the top sheet and sponge are on the hard side.
The ball comes off faster than average.

Topspin drives don't arc as much as I expected, but that actually works in your favor.

Meeting the ball flat is the best!
That's the best part of this rubber.
It's easily in my top 3 short pips rubbers ever.
The feel and sound of the shot are both so satisfying ♪

Flicks that snap the ball also go in beautifully.
What surprised me was how many points I scored off fast pushes.

If I had to find a flaw, the consistency of connecting shots when you're on the defensive isn't great.

This is a short pips rubber built for taking the initiative and attacking non-stop.
It's reasonably priced too — I recommend it.

I don't like this village (Experience: 6〜10 years) The hidden #1 among short pips

      Reviews by user

I got tired of soft, squishy short pips rubbers that grip and sink into the ball too easily.
Also, when the spin performance is too good, it doesn't feel like short pips anymore, and that doesn't suit me either.
For the forehand, I want a short pips rubber that gives good speed, allows for a reasonable topspin drive, and has good control. As long as it's short pips, you can still manage to produce knuckleballs somehow.
For the backhand, I decided to go with something distinctive that complements the forehand.
So, the one that was relatively stable and could do a bit of everything turned out to be Spinart.
When I actually hit with it, the straight, flat trajectory is really nice. It gives good speed too. Angle shots are very easy to do.
I love harder short pips, and while this rubber feels soft when you touch the top sheet, the actual feel on impact is a bit hard, with the ball coming off quickly — very short-pips-like.
So flicks and stops (short pushes) are easy too.
I'm going to move on from Moristo SP and try using Spinart for a while.

Recommended for anyone who wants more stability on the backhand.
      No issues with basic techniques.
You can hit it in a way that feels close to inverted rubber.
Since it has a horizontal pip pattern, it's also easy to get spin on the ball.
It's an all-around rubber that works for everything from close-to-the-table fast attack to chopping.

sand (Experience: 4〜5 years) A rubber opponents hate facing

      Reviews by user

This rubber has no quirks, and you can return the ball pretty much the way you intend (probably).
So it can be used by a wide range of players without much trouble.
It's popular with women. Compared to Rakza PO, Impartial XS, or VO>102, the spin performance is a bit lower, but in terms of control, it's the best. It could be called an all-around rubber that works for everyone from beginners to advanced players looking for stability. If you want more power, I'd recommend using Moristo instead.

I'd recommend this to anyone trying short pips for the first time!
It's stable and has solid spin and speed, so I recommend it.
That said, you can't really hit that hard with it,
but I really want people who want to try a bit of horizontal-pip play, or beginners in general, to give it a try!

I feel like this is similar to the VO>102 or thereabouts. It gets solid speed and spin, and it's strong in rallies too. Placing the ball where you want seemed easy, and the power was insane. I think this is a good one for people trying short pips for the first time.

      Spineo (Experience: 6〜10 years)

      Reviews by user

I play with pips out on both sides, and I've got this on my forehand. Among short pips rubbers, this one focuses on spin and control, so it's easy to hit consistent topspin drives. You can put spin on serves almost like you would with inverted rubber, so if you play forehand pips, this is worth trying.
