    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Praised for balanced performance as a forehand soft rubber, though some note the lack of distinctive features. Highly evaluated for stable switching from backhand soft rubber and beginner-friendly characteristics.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Horizontal-grain design combines spin and control effectively
    • Stability comparable to backhand soft rubber for all skill levels
    • Excellent service bite, flick, and meet-stroke performance
    • Prioritizes stability over aggressive power; some find it lack luster
    • Affordable price point makes it easy to try
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveDespite being forehand soft rubber, spin is generated easily with speed and spin well-balanced. Horizontal grain minimizes humidity effects, making stable loop drives accessible.
▽ CriticalLacks distinctive speed or spin characteristics, feeling middle-ground among forehand soft rubbers. Insufficient for players seeking flashy winners or spin-based variation.

Akkun A rubber with no weaknesses!

      Reviews by user

My blade is a custom-order Japanese penhold made by Kokutaku, and this site doesn't have options for either Kokutaku or custom orders, but here's my review anyway.
This is an ideal rubber that adds serve and push spin plus stability to a speed-focused short pips rubber.

      Reviews by user

This is a classic Yasaka staple rubber. Easy to use.

      Speed: quite fast
Spin: pips are large and easy to get spin on
      Control: really good
Block: this is super easy to do
      Flicking away: a bit hard
      Variation: not much knuckle effect
That's the rundown. You won't lose anything by buying it, so definitely give it a try!!

    • Kaolin

Kaolin Not bad for short pips

      Reviews by user

For a short pips rubber, it gets a decent amount of spin, but if you're asking whether it's a "spin-focused" rubber with crazy amounts of spin, not really. It's probably better to think of it as a rubber that excels at the knuckle-ball and speed-off-the-bounce qualities unique to short pips, so if spin is your top priority, you might want to think carefully before buying it.

Yutchi @ cut A classic short pips rubber

      Reviews by user

This is a pretty standard short pips rubber. It doesn't produce a ton of knuckle balls or crazy amounts of spin, but the control is excellent! The ball goes exactly where you expect. It suits choppers who like to create their own variation rather than attack much and just chop everything down. I'd also say the push is quite good among short pips rubbers! I'd recommend it to shakehand players using short pips on the backhand who like a solid, precise-cut feel.

God of the net in (Experience: 11〜20 years) A rubber suited for forehand pips

      Reviews by user

The bounce is about the same as Booster SA, but the slightly thinner pimples make knuckle balls come out more easily.
Even though the pimples are thinner, the grip on the ball is still excellent.
If you use it on the forehand, it can do a bit of everything, and I think it's a really good all-round rubber.

People of both sides Table (Experience: 2〜3 years) So hard!!!

      Reviews by user

It gets plenty of spin, but it was just really, really hard.
By the way, mine was the "thick" thickness.
I don't think you should put it on a hard blade, like a composite-material one.

Table Tennis Love (Experience: 2〜3 years) The sheet looks great, seems like it'll spin a ton!!!?!!

      Reviews by user

When I actually hit with it, it gets less spin than Rakza PO, but the topsheet is well balanced and really cuts down on net misses! The sponge is on the hard side, so it suits the forehand.
I especially recommend it for penhold short pips — for a single-sided penhold, why not try the all-round Spinnate?
It's cheap too, so it's easy to give a try!
