The new VICTAS VS > 401 rubber offers the perfect balance between a tacky control rubber and a variable offensive rubber. Push
Really sharp. It also comes in with a low trajectory, so it's hard for opponents to smash
Pushing with a driving motion produces a fast push
Receive
It feels less affected by incoming spin, so it's very easy to receive
Serve
Since it doesn't bounce much, backspin serves where you brush under the ball tend to have trouble clearing the net
Other spins come out extremely sharp
Chop
Really easy to use. You can keep the ball low without using much force
It also gets good spin
Topspin drive
Since the rubber is very hard, it's difficult without power
If you don't have much power, brushing the ball instead of sinking it in produces a spinny loop
For the smash, aim the racket face perpendicular to the table and slightly toward the back, and it goes in nicely

1.8mm, used on my backhand. I got it from a chopper teammate. It's a real winner.
Sure, it's a hard rubber, but the feel on contact is clear, it gets me motivated, and it works better together with my forehand too.
With Tenergy-type rubbers, the ball bounces on its own and you have to be careful with control.
This one isn't affected much by spin, and blocking is stable too. Being a rubber made for choppers, the push is, of course, extremely sharp.
During rallies you can use meet-hits as well as extending blocks and chop-blocks timed with the ball.
Compared to Tenergy-type rubbers, the bounce and spin feel completely natural, so I'd recommend it for drive players who mainly rely on their forehand.
It's affordable too, and it looks like it's going to be my go-to rubber for the backhand.All Speed Spin Control

It's a hard rubber.
If you like to sink the ball into the sponge when you hit, or if you prefer a soft rubber, you'd better avoid this one.
Pushes and chops get good spin and are stable.
For attacking, smashes feel great with this.

This rubber is hard, and honestly it really surprised me.
I'm still a beginner chopper just starting out, but
once you get used to this rubber, it's strong. Really recommended!!At first you might struggle to get used to it...
but I think it's best to get used to it little by little.It flies surprisingly well.
And it gets a decent amount of spin too.It's a bit pricey, but it's a rubber I'd recommend.

It was a perfect match with a bouncy blade and a low-bounce rubber. Maybe because it's light, my attacks are stable too.

It's advertised as a tacky tension rubber, but there's almost no tack to it.
When I touch the sheet telling myself "it's a little sticky..." there's maybe just enough to notice, if that.
The sponge feels pretty hard for a German-made rubber. That said, since I'm used to Chinese rubbers, the feel didn't seem hard to me. Also, I think the sheet itself is relatively soft.When I chop, the ball comes out really low. I was surprised. The ball travels shorter than I expected, to the point where I get more net misses. The spin is great too — even a rushed chop still cuts pretty well. Because of that, I found it a bit hard to produce a no-spin (knuckle) ball.
What I liked most was the push. Lots of spin, a low trajectory, and fast. It's really easy to use, and powerful pushes just come out on their own (lol)
Serves cut well too. You can keep them short.Because it's hard, people say topspin drives from mid-distance or away from the table are difficult, but I think it's also great on offense. You can hit sharp drives even from a deep position. That said, to blow through with one shot, you should probably still move in close to the table.

The chop is easy to keep low and cuts really well, but it's almost too easy to control — the ball tends to bounce around the middle of my opponent's side and the second bounce barely makes it off the table or not. It might be hard for opponents to attack, but it's far from the chop I'm actually aiming for ^_^; I think that's partly because I was still a beginner chopper and my skills weren't there yet...
That said, it's too hard, so topspin drives are difficult to pull off. For counterattacking, I think using a counter or a smash works well.
But‼︎ being hard also has its upside — I was able to attack while ignoring my opponent's spin. Still, it didn't suit me. To get easier drives, better control, and more bounce, I'm currently using the VS>402 Limber MAX.All Speed Spin Control
