    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
The majority of reviewers highly evaluate the spin performance and control characteristics as a micro-sticky rubber, while some point out that the lack of speed and high hardness make it difficult for beginners and tension rubber users. Particularly popular among cut players and spin-focused players.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Micro-sticky sheet makes it easy to apply spin, stable drives and cuts
    • Hard sponge excels at short-range techniques and blocking
    • Insensitive to opponent's spin, easy to control your own trajectory
    • Tension users note insufficient bounce and speed
    • Excellent cost-performance ratio for the price
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveIt's incredibly easy to apply spin and the drives work well. The cut can be suppressed and smashes are possible—an excellent rubber for cut players.
▽ CriticalFor tension rubber users, the bounce is weak and doesn't produce speed. Transitioning from tension is very difficult, and the high hardness requires significant power.

This rubber is incredibly easy to handle.
It's nicely insensitive to the opponent's spin, in a good way, so I can control my receives and make fewer mistakes, on both forehand and backhand!
Out of all the tension and tacky rubbers I've test-hit, this was the best. The V15 is heavy. Even at 2.0 on both sides it's heavy. I do think MAX is best for the forehand... but this rubber is light. Right now I'm using MAX on the forehand and 2.0 on the backhand, and I'm staying within 180g. (I think the blade is light too!) Going forward I'm thinking of putting MAX on the backhand as well.
Also, I don't know if it's just mine, but the red side (2.0) lost its tackiness right away - within a day or two... while the black side (MAX) is totally fine...
So if you're thinking of buying just one sheet, or if you're a chopper who only needs one side, there might be a difference, so I'd recommend getting the black side!
(This is just my personal opinion, so please take it as such. Also the thicknesses are different, so that might have something to do with it.)
Sorry for the long post. Thank you for reading.
I hope this is even a little bit helpful.
Please do give it a try!
      Thank you! ┏●

Easy to put spin on, and you can hit curve drives, speed drives, and loop drives. It also pairs well with my blade. This is a piece of gear I want to keep using for a long, long time to come.

It's a fairly hard sponge. The slightly tacky topsheet grips the ball well, making it easy to chop and brush the ball. The amount of spin is just amazing. Even on topspin drives, the trajectory arcs sharply and drops onto the opponent's side. Control isn't as bad as I expected either. I think with enough practice, this can become a really usable rubber.

Table tennis - GTR (Experience: 2〜3 years) Easy-to-use tacky rubber

      Reviews by user

First of all, the drive accuracy is high, and the ball flies with a beautiful arc. Even if your contact angle is a bit off, you still get a decent amount of spin and can hit consistently.
Also, it feels really quiet. The feel is on the hard side, but compared to other rubbers it's quiet (just my personal impression). Since I use anti-spin rubber, that's a bit of a sore spot for me personally, but I really like the "kyuin" sound this rubber makes when spin is applied.
I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to add spin while still getting the ball to fly!

Uncle Loop (Experience: 4〜5 years) Fits blades with a harder top ply

      Reviews by user

It's what you'd call a slightly tacky tension rubber, but the bounce is weak and it doesn't produce much speed. I'm using it with a VICTAS Walnut Wood blade, and it matches surprisingly well. Since the rubber itself doesn't bounce much, I think a blade with a hardwood top ply that still flexes, like a flexible plywood blade, works well with it.
When you drive with a mix of hit and brush, the ball draws a slightly high arc and then extends forward in second gear. If you brush it thin, you get a lot of spin and can hit a loop that drops sharply, though it took me a while to get used to the distance/timing.
I was half-doubtful buying it since it's slightly tacky with a middling hardness of 47.5, but I think for spin-focused players, it's a rubber that can really transform depending on the blade you pair it with.

TonofueYT (Experience: 2〜3 years) A modest tacky rubber. Strong drives land reliably

      Reviews by user

Used on the forehand (black MAX) of a Chinese penhold blade.
This is, first and foremost, a slightly tacky rubber. This was my first time buying a tacky rubber, and I think a slightly tacky one like this really is a good choice for people trying tacky rubber for the first time.
If you're using it as your main drive-heavy weapon, note that the sponge is on the harder side, so you'll need a certain amount of power.
As the name suggests, strong drives basically go in. You can hit hard drives with confidence.
Drives from mid-distance also fly properly if you've got the power.
      Loop drives are easy too.
Blocks properly absorb the power of the ball and come back stable.
All in all, it's a rubber you can use with confidence.

By the way, for a protective film, I'd recommend using TSP's tacky protection sheet.
