It's hard, but even with a light impact it feels like the ball really flies.
The power on attacking shots is more than enough, but honestly it feels like it flies too far. Countering an opponent's aggressive shot is really easy with this, but initiating an attack myself feels difficult.I don't really get a sense of strong grip on the ball. The Matsushita Special has carbon built into the blade, so if someone said that's the cause, that might be true...
Maybe because of this lack of grip, with chops I can control the length fine, but controlling the height is quite difficult.
The spin is also so-so.Rather than for choppers, I'd recommend this more to attacking players who are good at countering.
As for the Evolution MX, the inverted rubber that W〇M pushes as good for choppers, it doesn't feel like it really suits me.
The pips do suit me quite well, though...

It generates serious spin. It grips the ball like crazy. Since it's a firm rubber, as long as you swing through properly every time, the speed is excellent and the spin really bites, and it's easy to counter with too — I think it's a great rubber. That said, I can't really recommend it to players who just tap the ball close to the table...

Once I heard it was getting discontinued, I rushed to buy it.
After using it, yeah, it's hard.
But with the plastic ball, the hardness felt like it softened up a bit, which was really nice.
Also, the drive is insane~~~~

The rubber is hard and easy to brush.
You can do both topspin drives and chops with it, so it feels like a really versatile rubber.
If you don't have much power, I think it's hard to sink the ball into the sponge. It might be doable if you're confident in your power.

It's really hard.
If you just hit a normal forehand shot, it tends to come out knuckleball-ish. Unless you're an advanced player or a power hitter, you need to always be conscious of brushing the ball.
The backhand is easy to keep stable, though it can get knuckleball-ish too if you're not careful.
As for topspin drives, the spin on a loop drive is incredible — it dropped right down on the opponent's side of the table (lol).
Even against a chopper, a light brush is enough to get the ball up over the net.
As for serves, this might partly be my own skill level, but unless you swing quite fast, it doesn't spin much. It's also heavy, so be careful not to hurt your wrist...
As a beginner, I still couldn't really use it to its full potential. I felt like you need to be an advanced power hitter to handle every situation with it. If you're an intermediate player, I'd recommend Grip instead.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

The first thing I noticed after using it was that the spin is insane. Just in terms of spin performance, I think it's a masterpiece on par with Tenergy or Fastarc G-1. I also really liked how sharply it bites on serves. There are times when the topspin drive feels a bit hard to use, but if you've got the power, it works out fine (lol). Smashes are sharp too, and the push is good as well. I think even advanced players would be very satisfied with this. That said, I thought the price was a bit high for the performance. Also, it feels like you need to be an advanced player to really use it well — power is required too. I can't recommend it to beginners. The green sponge surprised me, but honestly I kind of feel like it should have been a little softer. I also wished the control performance was a bit better. Personally, I feel like the ball wobbles slightly at the moment of impact. I think it's a solid rubber overall, but I also felt like it was missing just one more thing.

The strength of this rubber is how well the topsheet grips the ball. It generates a ton of spin on serves, topspin drives, and chops. You can even hit a push as sharp and fast as an arrow. That really becomes a weapon. On the other hand, it's also easily affected by the opponent's spin, so you need to be careful. Since the rubber is hard, smashes come out fast. The chop also has a nice low trajectory, but it's really heavy! That's what lets you produce heavy shots, but every time I practiced my arm, shoulder, and neck would start hurting, so I sadly had to give it up. If you're the type who swings hard and fast, be careful.
