Good control, and decent spin too. I think it's the best in the GFT lineup.

germanium (Experience: 6〜10 years) A rubber focused on ball-grip

      Reviews by user

As the title says, the arc is high and it's very stable. The hardness is rated 45, but it feels milder than that - personally I'd like a harder feel off the ball... Speed is about average among tension rubbers. Spin is above average. But the sheet quality isn't great. What I mean is, even when you put spin on the ball, it doesn't feel like it's grabbing, and you lose spin. When you put a thin layer of spin on shots like loop drives or a curving chiquita, the ball slips right off. Also, if you swing hard from mid-distance with a grazing drive, it falls short and hits the net. Still, there's a lot to like. A drive where you really bite into the ball comes out sharp and penetrating, and blocking is solid too. The spin loss feeling is subtle, but backspin serves come back with real pace. On top of that, it's fairly affordable. That's great for the average player. I'll keep using this for a while.
