Table soft goodness of the unique ball away, of course, Booster EV to provide a ballistic a sense of stability. This is quite useful in such continuous attack and block counter with a sense of speed in the previous team. Meat beating is player-friendly table soft rubber of the front-end fast break type with a focus on. (made in Germany)

*Used as a penhold short pips. My rating is also based on penhold standards.
Of all the short pips rubbers I've used, I'd say this one's the fastest.
Spin doesn't really build up much. It suits a stroke where you brush the surface of the rubber.
Overall, flicking/blocking techniques (flat strokes) are easy to pull off, and the ball feels like it sinks solidly into the sponge before shooting out.
The sponge is a bit on the hard side, so I picked a softer hardness on multiple occasions.Even a normal forehand hit turns into a fairly knuckle-like ball. The variation is intense, so unless you practice a lot,
you won't be able to keep up with your own variation.
I think this suits players who are all-out attackers rather than defenders, and those who want to throw opponents off with variation.
For shakehand players, I think it suits someone who mixes variation attacks on the backhand while finishing points with forehand topspin drives.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I've been using EV for about a year now. I think it's top-tier among short pips for producing knuckle balls.
Depending on your stroke, you can get enough backspin on pushes and serves to make opponents catch the ball in the net.
Because there's such a difference between the forehand (knuckle) and backhand (topspin drive), you can really keep opponents off balance during rallies.

I think this is the number one rubber for speed.
But it flew too much for me to handle. It also produces insane knuckle balls, so the power of a single hit is ridiculous. Spin is hard to generate, so it's better suited to using on the backhand as a short pips.It's really built for angle hitting.

The ball flies dead straight.
It's not a spin-oriented rubber - the speed and straight trajectory confuse a lot of opponents, so it's easy to finish points (lol)
With so many players running inverted rubber on both sides these days, a speed-oriented tension short pips like this is pretty effective, I think.
That said, the ball can drop short sometimes, so if you're not used to speed-type short pips it might be tricky to build confidence with it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

The speed is just incredible! It made smashing easy, and blocking especially so.
It's a real short pips rubber in the sense that it's not affected much by spin and lets you put out fast balls.

I've been relying on this rubber for a long time. I haven't used many other short pips rubbers so I can't compare much, but I think it's great for hitting sharp shots. Especially with pushes - once you put in the work, you can pull off incredible angle shots. That said, I feel the slipperiness typical of short pips is a bit strong here. Because of that, smashing against a low, shallow loop or a heavily spun topspin drive is tough, especially on humid days. But if you refine your technique and learn to handle it, it's an amazing rubber.

I'd recommend this to intermediate-and-up players who are already used to short pips and want to produce that nasty knuckleball effect short pips are known for! You can easily send fast balls, and since they come out as knuckleballs, they're really hard to return. That said, it takes some skill to use, so it's more for intermediate to advanced players.
