Excellent Speed and Control Fastarc S1 is a soft version in Fastarc family/ The increase of control slightly reduces the speed, but the power is maintained. This rubber is recommended to the wide range of players from the beginners to the top players.
- Pimples in
- Produces high speed even with light contact
- Extremely easy to execute flat hits and smashes
- Strong defensive capabilities with easy blocking and countering
- Difficult to generate spin, challenging for counter-topspin
- Best for beginners and backhand, optimal for front-court attacking

Club one of table tennis equipment mania (Experience: 2〜3 years) A model student, but there are better ones out there

This is the second rubber I put on after switching my playing style from shakehand to a Chinese-style penhold looper.
I put it on my backhand, and it flew very stably, with blocking stability that was unmatched. The Fastarc series overall tends to have a lot of "model student" rubbers. I could also swing hard on backhand topspin drives with no problem. Chiquita was easy since the rubber is soft, but it came out a bit too low, so I netted a lot. I haven't tried serving with it, so no comment there. Maybe because the sheet is thin, blocks come out low and sharp. Also, for a speed-oriented rubber, it grips the ball well, so speedy topspin drives and wrist flicks were very easy to produce. For flat hitting, something like Vega is honestly easier to use... If you're an advanced player, I think you could find an easier-to-use rubber if you look around. Also, the S-1 is by far the cheapest in the Fastarc series, so I think it's perfect for the forehand of a beginner who finds something like Vega Asia too hard! Like table tennis (Experience: Less than a year) The speed of Fastarc 1

I used this on the forehand of my Septear blade. The speed is more than enough, and the control is good too. However, personally I feel that with max thickness sponge, it flies a bit too much.

Jagajaga (Experience: 2〜3 years) Medium beats thick

I currently have the thick version on my backhand, but if I were putting it on, I think medium thickness would be better. Countering is easy, but blocking feels a bit harder to me. Backhand topspin drives are a little difficult too. The strong points are serving, pushing, and countering.

I put this on my backhand.
It has speed and is relatively easy to use. However, it doesn't generate much spin.
It's not suited to players looking for spin. Also, I wouldn't recommend it for the forehand. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Table Tennis bastard (Experience: 2〜3 years) Easy to use

I put this on my backhand. My biggest impression was that it bounces really well. However, the amount of spin was a bit lacking (though this may vary from person to person...). So my recommendation would be for someone who's been playing table tennis for about a year. Once you get used to it and it starts to feel like it's not enough, maybe it's fine to level up to something like the G-1.

I use this on my backhand.
It's such a soft rubber that you can tell just by touching it with your hand.
This is the first time in a while I've felt a rubber that impressed me right away. It's consistent across every technique. In terms of spin amount it falls short compared to something like the G-1, but if you're going to use one, the S-1 is a good choice.
I thought this would be a great next rubber for young kids in the early grades of elementary school. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Even among Fastarc rubbers, the speed on this one really stands out. The sponge is soft, so control is easy too. Personally I find it easier to use on the backhand. I think it could work as a substitute for Tenergy 64.
