Excellent Speed and Control Fastarc S1 is a soft version in Fastarc family/ The increase of control slightly reduces the speed, but the power is maintained. This rubber is recommended to the wide range of players from the beginners to the top players.

This Fastarc is known for its speed, but since the sheet is soft, I found it surprisingly good at generating spin too. That said, I got the impression that if you put too much force into it, the ball flies off in a weird direction. Even with a small swing the speed is fast, and if you get a good grip on the ball, the spin comes through properly - overall it's a well-rounded, good rubber.

Speed-wise, this is probably the fastest in the Fastarc series - no, in the whole Nittaku rubber lineup. The sponge is soft, so I think it suits the backhand. It holds a similar position to Tenergy 64, though it probably doesn't quite reach the 64's level. That said, there's no doubt you can play great offense and counters with it. It gets plenty of spin too. I'd say it suits intermediate to advanced players.

I think this has the softest sponge in the Fastarc series.
Spin is a bit behind other rubbers,
but speed is its strength.
The Fastarc series is one of the "post-Tenergy" rubbers, and I'd say the S1 is close to the 64 in Tenergy terms.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

I bought this because I wanted to try it on my backhand.
My impression on the backhand is that the ball flies straight and direct. It has speed. I'm sure I'll have more thoughts as I keep using it. I think it's easy to use. The price is affordable too, so I thought it was good.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

I used this on my backhand.
It does get spin, but the ball quality is light, so hitting flat became my main approach. With flat hits, the speed picks up and the ball gets a bit knuckle-like, which seemed to make it hard for opponents to read.
For serves, fast long serves are easy to hit. Short serves come out with a moderate amount of spin and a light ball quality. Receives aren't affected much by incoming spin, making them easy. Blocks and counters have plenty of power and were easy to control.
For backspin, if you let the ball settle on the rubber and then swing through, it strangely lands deep.It's probably not suited to players who rely on spin to win points, but for flat hits, blocks, and counters it has power and stability - once you get into a groove with it, it's a fun rubber.

SHIXAN (Experience: ６〜１０ years) Recommended for plywood blades

It's cheap and performs quite well, so I used it for a while.
The sponge is very soft and the sheet releases the ball quickly, so to put it plainly, this is really a rubber made specifically for soft plywood blades.I also tried it with special materials and hardwood blades, but it felt like this rubber couldn't show its true potential there.
Since it's fundamentally a speed-oriented rubber, the sheet's grip isn't all that strong to begin with.
With a lively blade, the ball got flicked away before I could put spin on it. The spin clearly drops compared to using it on plywood.If you play an offensive style built around topspin drives and smashes and use a plywood blade (excluding hardwood-type blades), this rubber can produce more speed than similarly priced options like XIOM's VEGA series or Butterfly's Roundell, so I'd recommend it.

This is an extremely soft rubber.
It's easy to produce fast balls, but on the forehand the ball felt a bit too light, so I mainly used it on the backhand, and this review is based on backhand use.
For the short game, despite being soft it's easy to control, and stop and push shots were easier to pull off than I expected.
However, for aggressive shots like chiquita and backhand flicks, the ball sank into the sponge too much and felt hard to use.
Against an opponent's topspin drive, just squaring up your racket sends the ball back as a sharp counter into their court. Aiming for a specific course was surprisingly easy this way, and I found that quite satisfying.
I think this rubber would satisfy players without much power, or women players. On the other hand, if you swing hard with both forehand and backhand, or want to, I felt this rubber is better avoided.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft
