Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The Fastarc G-1 has the most power of the series. It's a very direct and to the point rubber. All offensive strokes from fast drives at the table to long distance counterlooping are executed with high precision. The hardest and fastest of all the Fastarcs.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Highly evaluated as a standard German tension rubber with proven track record among top players and versatile performance, yet many note it requires strong impact technique and is not suitable for all player types. Durability and cost-effectiveness are central to its support.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Versatility: Compatible with drives, attacks, table techniques and more
    • Durability and longevity: Lasts longer than Tenergy or Dignics
    • Grip power: Holds the ball firmly for stability
    • Impact-dependent: Best for powerful hitters; weak contact causes drops
    • Highly rated for backhand: Excellent stability and ease of use
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveA German rubber that produces curveballs and enables various techniques like drives, smashes, and counters to be executed easily. Achieves high-level spin and speed, with excellent longevity. Recommended for students and intermediate players.
▽ CriticalWhen trying to add strong spin with heavy impact, the ball sometimes slides. Not suitable for power hitters. Feels like a previous generation rubber with no distinctive characteristics, making it not worth the high cost.

Soon (Experience: 2〜3 years) Amazing control!!

      Reviews by user

I used to use the Fastarc P-1 before, so at first nothing would go in at all.
But once you put your weight into the shot and hit it firmly, both the speed and spin are beyond reproach.
I'm using it on my forehand, and forehand down-the-line shots are really easy to hit and land solidly on the table.
Smashes are also easy to hit and come out with power.
People I'd recommend this to: players who can hit firmly with their own strength, and players looking for stable performance.
No regrets using this. It's a high-spec rubber.

Or Mekame (Experience: 6〜10 years) Great match with hard blades!

      Reviews by user

This pairs well with a hard blade!
Even with a light graze the ball lifts and clears the net with a solid arc.
Also, even on hard hits the ball sinks all the way down to the blade, letting you hit fast shots!

One downside is that it's easily affected by incoming spin, making the push a bit tricky. I think a blade with a bit more bounce would give you better control.

Now that Tenergy has gone up in price, I think this is the top-tier rubber.
      Please give it a try!

Spin and drives are the best. I use the thick version and the performance was beyond complaint. If you want even more power, I think the max thickness version would be the way to go.

Umar Fastarc G-1 works with any blade!

      Reviews by user

After trying the G-1, I found it very easy to use, and I thought it was a top-tier rubber with no complaints in speed, spin, or control!

The ball seems to land almost on its own, tracing a nice arc.
The spin has great grip on the ball, so drives and serves are really easy to do!
And the control is amazingly easy too.

It works well with wooden blades and special-material blades alike, so if you're not sure what to get, I'd absolutely recommend the G-1!

Also, even with the switch from celluloid to plastic balls, the G-1's performance hasn't dropped at all, so I felt there was nothing to worry about there.

I'm using this on the forehand side of my KCK (Nittaku's Kevlar carbon Chinese-penhold-style blade).
I bought it after hearing it's a spin-oriented tension rubber similar to Tenergy, and personally I like it even more than Tenergy.
The reputation going in was that it's hard, but it felt soft to me.
Both the sheet and the sponge are soft, and the ball sinks in on its own.
Because of that I thought it might actually suit the backhand better.
The speed itself is toned down compared to Tenergy, but my impression is that it's easier to use than Tenergy.
Also, drives against backspin are extremely easy - the ball just lifts and lands on the table almost on its own.
Since it's a bit soft it leans more toward drives than smashes, and I don't feel like there's any technique that's hard to pull off with it.
The sheet's grip on the ball is fine too.
It was easy enough to use that I felt like the rubber itself was doing me favors.

The sheet doesn't grip the ball that well, so loop drives come out as flat, weak balls with nothing on them, but power drives where you sink the ball in are very fast and get plenty of spin. There's enough spin that opponents will overshoot and send it flying off the table.
What I liked best was how easy it is to lift backspin. This is on another level - top tier even among spin-oriented tension rubbers.
You don't even have to swing that hard - the ball naturally gains speed, shoots forward, and dives down sharply once it's on the opponent's side. Even on backhand drives, when I lightly lifted a deep push, the ball went in fast and heavily spun, and my opponent got rattled by it. The spin is quite strong too.
Personally, I think this pairs better with a wooden blade. Combined with a blade that's easy to handle and has good spin, along with the power of the G-1, it makes for a really good combination. If you want a special material blade, go with an inner-ply one. With an outer-ply blade the rebound is too strong and the ball flies off too fast, but if you're a player who smashes a lot, like many women players do, an outer-ply blade might work fine too.
