Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The Fastarc G-1 has the most power of the series. It's a very direct and to the point rubber. All offensive strokes from fast drives at the table to long distance counterlooping are executed with high precision. The hardest and fastest of all the Fastarcs.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Highly evaluated as a standard German tension rubber with proven track record among top players and versatile performance, yet many note it requires strong impact technique and is not suitable for all player types. Durability and cost-effectiveness are central to its support.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Versatility: Compatible with drives, attacks, table techniques and more
    • Durability and longevity: Lasts longer than Tenergy or Dignics
    • Grip power: Holds the ball firmly for stability
    • Impact-dependent: Best for powerful hitters; weak contact causes drops
    • Highly rated for backhand: Excellent stability and ease of use
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveA German rubber that produces curveballs and enables various techniques like drives, smashes, and counters to be executed easily. Achieves high-level spin and speed, with excellent longevity. Recommended for students and intermediate players.
▽ CriticalWhen trying to add strong spin with heavy impact, the ball sometimes slides. Not suitable for power hitters. Feels like a previous generation rubber with no distinctive characteristics, making it not worth the high cost.

Gusto (Experience: 2〜3 years) A very all-round rubber

      Reviews by user

Fastarc G-1 is easy to handle for speed, spin, and control — I'd really recommend it. It's especially good for anyone who wants to add more spin to their serves and topspin drives.

It puts good spin on the ball and has speed too, so you can pull off all kinds of powerful attacks! Topspin drives come out with real power as well.

When I first put it on and tried it out, I found it hard to control — my drives kept going long, and I couldn't vary the length of my serves well, so at first I thought I'd made a mistake.
But after about a week of use, the sheet seemed to soften up a bit and the grip felt stronger; drives came in a bit flatter but landed consistently, and serves felt great as long as I brushed the ball.
It might feel hard to use at first, but I think it's a rubber that grows on you once you break it in a bit.

Fastarc G1 feels like the hardest rubber in the Fastarc lineup to me
True to the "G1" (grip) in its name, I think it does have good spin — the grip is strong, which also means it's easy to be affected by the opponent's spin
On top of that, it's fast and hard to control, so I wouldn't recommend it for elementary schoolers or beginners who don't have much power yet

Manufacturing (Experience: 11〜20 years) It's a good rubber

      Reviews by user

I put this on my son's blade.
My impression is that it's slightly harder than Tenergy 64.
It puts good spin on the ball — even my son, who's in first grade, gets nice spin on his topspin drives with it. Smashes are easy to hit too.
It makes sense that so many of Japan's top players use this rubber.
      It's a really excellent rubber.

      Yutchi @ cut A versatile, high-performance rubber

      Reviews by user

I think this is an outstanding rubber! It's easily one of the top 3 rubbers I've ever used.
You can put spin on the ball, but it doesn't take much of the opponent's spin.
It has speed, but the ball still sinks in with plenty of spin, and blocking works great too.
Even though I put it on for chopping, I was never overpowered in topspin rallies either. It's an all-around, high-performance rubber that gives you a high level of both spin and control, on offense as well as defense!
I think it suits any playing style — it works for everyone!

Rider drive (Experience: 4〜5 years) A perfect rubber

      Reviews by user

In a word, this is a perfect rubber. It's not easily affected by the opponent's spin, yet it's easy to put your own spin on the ball, so chops and the short game were both easy. For both chops and topspin drives, I felt like sinking the ball into the sponge got more spin on it.
