Easy to hit drives and chiquitas with. Spin comes easily. Speed is average. Control performance is outstanding.
It suits the backhand more than the forehand.
For the forehand, I'd recommend the Fly Att, Fastarc, or Tenergy series instead (for attacking players).
The price is dirt cheap, and it's worth every bit of that.

It suits the backhand, but it's easily affected by incoming spin.
Even people who aren't great at topspin drives can handle it easily.
It's too soft for the forehand and not really suited to it.
I think it's a rubber for beginners and intermediate players.

I think it's more than enough for a beginner's forehand, or an intermediate-and-below player's backhand. This isn't a tension rubber, but when a table tennis beginner hits with it, you get a really nice ball with speed on it. It's not the kind of rubber that flies on its own like a Plaxon 350, so I think you can actually improve properly with it. I've put this rubber on all sorts of blades, from 5-ply to carbon blends, but on a thin 7-ply like the TSP Alterno it really makes a high-pitched sound, which is fun. Still, personally I felt a slightly thicker 7-ply suited it best. That said, this is all only talking about play close to the table.

It's soft for the forehand, but I think it's fine for beginners - tough for intermediate players though. The topspin drive is easy to hit. The ball sinks in nicely, so forehand curve drives and shoot drives come easily too. If you loop drive against a heavily backspun ball, it comes back with a ton of spin and dips down. But be careful, it's quite easily affected by incoming spin.

It's not that fast, so it suits the backhand better than the forehand. It's really stable, so it's easy to use. Also, the performance is great for the price.

Above all, it's soft! It really shows its power on receive especially - your flicks "sink in" and go exactly where you want. I've improved a lot using it. Mounted on a Fly Att Carbon, even the "medium" thickness lets you put out fast shots.
