It's a rubber with a chewy, thick feel to it.
The hitting sensation wraps around the ball, and I think the control is really good.

First off, it's cheap
The balance between bounce and spin is good, so you can hit drives consistently
The sponge is red, so it looks good too
Since it's made in China, the surface is a bit slick out of the box
Clean it properly (apply cleaner and wipe it off) and it shows its true performanceAll Speed Spin Control

I tried this out because the low price was appealing.
It feels like those high-bounce, high-friction rubbers from the Sriver FX / Mark V era, just a bit livelier.
Speed is a touch on the fast side, spin is about average.It's very soft, so the ball sinks in nicely.
It's very soft and doesn't quite reach tension-rubber territory, but it basically has a spring-like bounce, so if that playing style suits you it should work well. That said, being this soft, a hard-hitting style doesn't feel stable, and speed doesn't really come out either.Other than being soft, it doesn't have any weird quirks, so I think it suits all-round players who want to do a bit of everything with the topspin drive as their main weapon.

I had this on my backhand. The sheet grips the ball well, so serves and drives get strong spin. However, it's easily affected by incoming spin, so returning serve can be tough without decent short-game skills. The sheet is soft, so you play by letting the ball sink in. Same with drives - if you let the ball sink in, you can hit fast topspin drives. Since it's easily affected by spin, it doesn't seem great for blocking (things like curve drives especially throw it off). I'd say this suits beginner-to-intermediate drive players who understand how spin works and have some short-game skill.

Overall it's soft, so you can really let the ball sink in when you hit, and the feel is pleasant.
The sheet's grip on the ball isn't especially outstanding, but you can still feel it grab the ball.
A rubber that handles all kinds of techniques without trouble. Great value for money too, so I think it's a really good rubber.All Speed Spin Control

I use it on my backhand (it's soft, so it's a bit rough on the forehand, sob).
The push has good spin, but it's easily thrown off by incoming spin.
The chiquita is about average, both in ease of use and spin. (Flicking is beyond my skill level ><)
Now, as for attacking - the topspin drive is really good.
When you let the ball sink in, you get a heavy ball with lots of spin, and the control is pretty solid too.
The over-the-table topspin drive is good as well.
The backhand curve drive really bends a lot. Going by that, I'd guess the chiquita
can probably curve quite a bit too depending on how you brush it.
As for the flicking stroke, if you let the ball sink in, load up, then snap it out all at once,
you get a ball with pretty good speed on it.
What surprised me was the sound - a nice sharp metallic ping.
For a cheap 3,400 yen (before tax),
