The drive is more straight-lined than arcing.
You can loop if you try, but
serves have great spin. Pushes have good spin too, but they're a bit tricky.

My impression after using it: it really flies. It lives up to its name. As for the tackiness everyone's curious about, it's not that tacky to begin with, but it seems to be easily affected by protective sheets, so if you put on something like a TSP tacky sheet it gets quite sticky. Personally, I felt that level of tackiness made it easier to get both speed and spin working together. In terms of hardness, it's about the same as the Fastarc series in tension rubbers. Compared to regular tacky rubbers, I think it's softer and easier to handle. There's also a rubber called Kiryu, so if you're thinking about moving from tacky to tension, I think going
tacky → Shoryu → Kiryu → tension
would let you switch without much of a gap. I ended up satisfied with Shoryu before I even got to tension though (lol)All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

SIMA 1st kouki (Experience: ２〜３ years) A new genre of tacky rubber

This rubber doesn't feel very tacky. Rather than the third-ball attack off a serve being great, I found the rallies after that easier to play. It's such a new kind of rubber that even I, someone who isn't a tacky-rubber user, felt like I could handle it.
For serves, the crouching serve is easy to do, probably because it's easy to put power into the swing. For a toss serve, a regular tension rubber is easier to use. Drives felt really easy to hit. In particular, the ball sinks into the sponge easily, so it was easy to generate power. Smashes came out with that knuckle-ball effect unique to tacky rubbers, making them hard for opponents to return. Chops were also easy to do. It has a moderate bounce, so attacking off a chop was easy too. For mid-distance play, even though the bounce is moderate, it's still tacky rubber so it was hard to use. In particular, counters off a lob often didn't reach the table. In the short game, it's affected a bit by incoming spin, so flicks and chiquitas were hard, but stops and pushes had good spin and felt great.
This rubber is easy to put spin on and has a moderate bounce, so I'd recommend it to choppers who also want to attack, players who struggle to generate spin, and tacky-rubber users who want to move toward tension rubber.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

For a tacky rubber the speed was pretty good.
Smashes came out as knuckle balls with good speed.
Drives had good speed while still carrying spin.
Backspin serves had good spin, which was nice.

Driveman (Experience: ２〜３ years) Firm with weak tackiness

I originally used Hurricane, then switched to Fastarc G-1 because I wanted more power without losing much spin on my drive, but I felt like I wanted a bit more power, so I tried this one. Even when I hit with it, it doesn't really feel tacky - when I press the ball into the rubber, it barely sticks. Both the spin and speed feel great, and serves have good spin too. It's definitely worth trying out! It's also great value for money, so I'd recommend it to new players too.
