It just makes such a satisfying sound.
Since it's a soft tacky rubber, the arc is on the higher side too.

It's on the softer side for a tacky rubber, so you get a nice arc easily.
It bounces a lot, so if you don't use your hips you'll overshoot.
Both the feel and the sound of the ball are satisfying.
The block is especially excellent. The ball just lands in the opponent's court on its own.
Serves can also come out as tricky balls. A lot of them are knuckle balls.

I thought it puts out a lot of power for a tacky rubber. It works well for hard hitters and fast-attack players too. Serving is especially easy with it.

I have it on my forehand. What stands out most is the counter. It has speed while still going where you aim it, so I'd recommend it to people who struggle to land counters. Shoryu isn't all that tacky for a tacky rubber, but it still gets plenty of spin. However, it flies a lot, so it's easy to overshoot, and getting that balance right is tricky.

Tats (Experience: ２〜３ years) Test-hit with Kiryu glued on one side

It's a bit harder than Kiryu, bounces well, and gives you more distance. I think that difference in distance is the biggest difference between the two. Kiryu is lighter and speedier than Shoryu, and given its bounce it feels more suited to close-to-the-table play. The spin is about the same on both, but since Kiryu has less bounce, it's easier to keep the ball on the table without overshooting. Before actually trying them, I expected Shoryu to suit the forehand and Kiryu the backhand, but it's actually more stable with Kiryu on the forehand and Shoryu on the backhand.
